This was the number displayed, but number could be spoofed.
No message. Caller disconnected as soon as I answered.
I added the number to my phone 'blocked' list.

Caller ID read CCS. Looking up as far as I can get for free, the call was based in Hamilton County, a burb of Indianapolis.

its a place called childrens charitable services. they do the fop and other things like that were they want donations...these places are like stray animals, you give them money once they'll come back all the time wanting it again and will basiclly get pissed when you tell them you cant afford it.

Never gave a stray animal money!! Food, yes.

yet another place seeking donations. funny thing is when my job was sent overseas some years ago and my wife and i fell on some very bad times (and we still are having it rough) not a single charity reached out to us to help. my wife is ill, has no insurance (i am fortunate to have mine thru VA) and doesn't take medicine she needs because we can't afford it, nobody will help. the police solicitors are the absolute WORST with high pressure!

i have told these solicitors before i had like $12 to last for a week and a half and they had the gall to ask for $10 of it.

i am fed up with all of them and have seriously thought about dropping my land line because they will not stop calling.

This number showed up on caller ID as State Office. When I answered the phone they hung up. They have called back several times, but don't leave messages.

I am so tired of getting calls from this number.  I don't answer anymore but they refuse to leave a message and keep calling nearly every day and sometimes 2-3 times a day!  What's the point of the Do Not Call List?

Got a couple of calls from this number.  No message.  Just says Indiana on caller ID.  Thanks to the other posters with the info on it being a charity call.

Repeated calls from this number. I will not answer the calls and they leave no messages. I guess it must not be too important!!

Apparently someone is recycling old phone lists with new "boiler room" personnel. Called me dozens of times over a year ago, even after I blocked the number. Started agaitoy yesterday.

These calls are scams - do not give them anything.

Got this call on ID no message left. No clue who it realy is from.

my id said State Office

Said State Office but caller was asking for donations for a fund to help soldiers overseas talk with video to family at home. Sounded very suspicious.

Also got a call early this morning, but they left no message and my CID reported Unknown Caller

No message left.  I saw it was an unknown number to me and I rejected it and blocked it for future.  Then I went to your website and am glad I did.  They most likely got our landline number via my husband, who watches Fox News all day long and answers every email survey request and calls every 800 survey number broadcasted by that TV channel; drives me nuts.  
I purchased a *Sentry plug and block* unit off Amazon (it arrived in 3 days) and easily hooked it up to our phone.  There is a community of folks to help answer any questions about installing it or figuring out how it works, online on the Amazon site.  I now hit *reject* to numbers I don't recognize and they never get through again - they ring once and disappear forever.  I am able to either Reject or Approve up to 1,000 numbers; well worth it for around $30 now that the political calls are beginning to come.

I got a call from this number.  It was an automated phone thingy, asking if I was "bob" and if so, press 1.  Connected to a real person after that.  I told them that I don't know who they were, and they hung up.
