They call saying that Visa order me some Magazines and wanted to know if I wanted to cancel them and all they need me to do is to give them my card number starting with the number 4 I was like no and they hung up

They had my address.  I gave them no information

They had my address as well saying I was going to continue getting charged. I have not seen any foreign charges in my last 180 day history. I think they are just trying to get info from me. They're fraudulent.

I received a call from 317-559-5322. Caller ID: C. Carduso.  She said I had a subscription set up for automatic renewal and she wanted to know if I wanted to continue or cancel it.  She couldn't tell me what magazine, she only had codes. I suspected a phishing call so said I couldn't say yes or no if I didn't know what magazine.  She said that she would pass me to her supervisor who could help but needed to verify information.  She asked me for my age.  I said I wasn't going to give her personal information if she could produce facts to prove she was ligitimate.  She insisted she was trying to help because this was due to collections.  I asked her to send written information documenting my subscription.  She said she would send me written information and it would be a collection letter.  I said fine.  I'll deal with that when it comes and hung up.

The lady was persistent when I said I had no magazines today. She said what would you say if I said it doesn't look like that. I said Bye.

I have been receiving the same calls too.  Same scam as the other posters to this number have described.  They several other numbers too, I've been blocking them.  As it turns out I do have a magazine subscription and a few years ago their system was hacked and they immediately called everyone and informed us of the issue.  Then a security password was set up so when they call I ask for the password and they tell me.  These people don't know the password so I just hang up and block the number.

I had the exact same call. But they asked me to verify my credit card #. I said, you tell me what you have in front of you and I will tell you if it is correct. The person then said to me, I can't give you that information. I said, neither can I so stop calling. It is a scam!

I just spoke with an extremely rude man stating that he was verifying  my auto renew subscription to some magazines. He had my name, address, claimed to have have card number and the last four of my social. When I wasn't cooperative he became very sarcastic and rude.

I got a call from this number by a woman trying to push me into a magazine subscription. I tried to be polite and refuse the subscription but she just kept pushing . I reluctantly gave her my debit card number then snapped that I should not have done that and hung up on her . She had me on a recorded line but I didn't let her keep me on the line until the agreement for the magazines was finished. She called me back twice but I didn't answer.

You might want to call your card company and make sure that if they try to charge your card that the charge is refused. They might try to push it through anyway.

Me too ,,, this number called me before 2 days & talked about magazines & they use to take $50 every month from my bnk account for five months for nothing even no magazines!!! I'm busy dying limit till limit i didnt care alot but 2 days ago they talkd badly with me when i told them that they are just theifs n they stole my money for nothing almost 6 month without even 1 magazine & from begginig the deal was $20 a month so whyyyyyyy they took $50? They close the line ,,, but tomororrw i will go to my bnk to stop them then go to a lower ,,, thise [***] company must to pay back every cent they stole from my accont

I was just called by this number and harrased saying that I ordered magazines and had to give them my credit card info because they pay a premium to this company for leads and have to get payment for the magazines directly from the customer.  First of all, I explained to them that my cc had been comprised 3 months ago.  Someone was charging my account for diet pills.  Then they charged me a $3 foreign currency fee.  Whoever these people are, this is a scam.  I have blocked the caller and since then closed my debit card account.  They tried to tell me because they had my home address I approved the charge.  Simply not true and how they have my address is very disturbing.

I was called and told I had reported receiving damaged magazines.  I have never subscribed to any magazines.

I just received a call from this number asking for my husband. I asked if i can leave a message and all they said was, "This is just a courtesy call. Thank you, have a nice day." and they hung up. Courtesy call for what? Guess from your responses it has something to do with magazines? hmmm....

I got the same thing when they called!!  i wish i could see these folks face to face!!!

I recieved 2 calls from the same number,317-559-5322, and the "supervisor" was extremely rude when I told her she didn't need my social security number and I refused to give her my credit card number when she read of the last 4 digits and I had no card with those numbers. She kept trying to bully me into giving her an alternative card number to cancel my magazine subscription, which I didn't have to start with.

do not answer these or any unknown numbers...that's my policy...i think if you answer it puts you on more lists ;(
