It is a loan service. They are now calling BEFORE bill is due....evrey month. WTF!!!!

Yes calls from Aurora loan service.  And yes I paid my payment,  No I'm not late.  

I got the call and the caller wanted me to verify my ssn.  I would not, so he refused to tell me why he was calling.  He refused to get a supervisor.  I treated it as a phishing call to get personal info.

I too got called before bill was late and he wanted my ssn and i refused.He got all huffy and refused to get a super.Very odd.

It's been happening to me for the last 3 days and I'm not late on my payment either.  I decided to check online to see if I could track down who was calling me because whoever it is, isn't leaving a message.

They are calling every day and its to the point of harrassment because I made my payment and told them it was made.  My first call from them was on the 1st of the month and they asked me to verify my SSN#,  I refused and was told by them that they could not discuss the details of the call with me.  I was very interested to find out why they were calling because my payment was not late until the 17th.  I called the customer service # and was told that I would continue to get calls until my payment is received.   This is harrassment and I must pursue a legal alternative.

Yes, I got the call.  They hung up when I answered.

I get the same calls from Aurora and I have told them to stop calling me before I'm late. This is the second call this week, last one was an 800 number. I've got it on caller ID now to ignore. They said I need to send it in writing to take off the notification list. It IS to the point of harassment...

I've never been late on a mortgage payment and I don't need a reminder or somebody calling asking me when do I intend to pay when it's not nearly past due, in a snotty tone of voice is totally uncalled for.

recieved a call from this #, it was a long recording of bad music. I also have a loan with Aurora..must be them.

Even though the mtg is paid well before the due date, these *&^%$ers wont stop calling.
Call 2-3 times a day, every day for past eight days.Never leave a mssg, hang up when answered.

Even though call originates from "Aurora loans" , suspect fraudulent activity.

I missed a call last night from this number and have had my loan serviced by Aurora in years.

Yes phone rang once only, decided to google the number and found this blog. My mortage is with Aurora so i have to assume it is them. Why they only ring once and hang up? Here is my guess ; so they can put down on their notes "they attempted to call you and could not reach you". I have heard this from them before. If you work you are not home or always available to pick up the phone YOU ARE WORKING, it does not help that NO Message or call back is left to follow up. This in my opinion is a highly unethical debt collector and a very agressive one with nasty tactics. Document to protect yourself. Aurora is in the business of debt collection / loan service.

I just googled Aurora and found that they now have mulitiple class action lawsuit. They are popping up every month since August of 2010. This is link is one of many you can find under google _ Aurora class action lawsuit

Yup it's another one of Aurora's many many spoofed phone numbers.

I'm having the same thing happen to me. What I did to "fix" this is to create a online account and change your phone numbers.
Too bad they do this, not a good way of doing business and I won't recommend them to anyone.

Great information... I am not late, never have been; I too will now go online and change my contact information and end these constant calls that have no basis.
I would NEVER recommend Auroro Loans!!
