I just received a call from this number offering me for a free Internet site.  The connection wasn't very good.  It looks like young Asiatic men. He said he was calling from Florida to offers me a free web site. I told them that they had the wrong number, they were calling a private number, I just hung up - it was very strange, and I have a feeling too that it was just a prank call. I call them back from different number they never answered.

Same thing, they just hung up.  Get a call once a week from them

I am getting these calls every week BUT the number that shows up on my cell phone is 3-317-670-0133.
Yup... a 3 in front of the number.  When it called forward to my home phone, the true number showed up.  Damn fool wanted me to set up a web site with him.  These jerks cost me money every time they call on my cell phone bill.  The phone companies don't care because it is a revenue stream for them.... OUR MONEY!!!

I was on Craigslist looking at the pet section. I saw an ad for two African Grey parrots who needed a good home. I only got a response about two months later. I was suspicious from the start , even though i dont know much about birds, that these two rare birds were free with only shipping paid. Each bird alone is worth at least $900.00. The scam artist (if you can call them that) sent me pictures and spun a very sad tail of how he has brain cancer and only 6 months to live. Being an animal lover I was very interested and sympathetic for him/her. As i continued to exchange emails the place where this so called sick person lived changed many times. The i found out the "shipping company" could only take western union wire transfers due to an audit. This is all crap. DONT BUY IT!!!

Been waiting for an African parrot for two days, Promising the parrot would arrive at the airport and never got the bird.   My 14 year old son has been saving for months to buy a bird.   I hope these people can sleep at night.

I live in Canada and receive a call from 331-7670-0199 as it shows up on the phone. They offered me psychic reading!!! As I can see, they change their "offer" from time to time: free site, parrots, psychic reading! What's going on there!?!?!?

La personne connaissait mon nom et elle me disait qu'un voyant (médium) avait été inspiré par ma date de naissance et qu'il désirait me donner des informations importantes sur mon avenir... J'ai trouvé ca trop bizare. Et la, la femme ma dit une date quelle croyait être ma date de fête, mais ce n'était pas la bonne. j'ai tout de suite racroché le téléphone. Une arnaque assuré!!!!!

Cell phones are used for telemarketing and feeling out ownership of listed phone numbers...obviously.  Caller said she was calling on behalf of insurance agent, Anthony Poss (sp).  I said the person she was calling for was not here and to take our number off of their calling list.  She said that was for the person whom she was calling to say and hung up.  Cell phone number originates from Carmel, Indiana.  Could not find a listing there for the insurance agent.  What telemarketers do is call to track when people are home to answer phone and then hit with a sales call or something when it is most likely someone will answer the phone...obviously.

I got 3 calls from this number today, my answering machine picked up but they didn't leave a message, the first call was laughter and it sounded like kids fooling around, the other two calls they just kept silent and then hung up. I tried calling back and it just rang and then clicked as if they picked up and hung up right away, Since I have a new puppy and he wakes me up several times in the middle of the night, I may give them a call every time I get up. We'll see how funny they think that is. I just hope they have caller ID so they can see it's from a number they keep calling and maybe that will get them to stop.

I am surprised to receive the call from 1 317 670 0199, today.

I notice unusually the area phone number into our province.

Please to prevent it and stop it right now before to be late.

Il y en a qui ont vraiment pas grand chose à faire dans la vie.

Nobody talk and they call me every fu**ing day ... it's really frustrating! I will complaint to the police next they call me, there is a limit to [***] somebody!

Il appelle maintenant à chaque jour et il n'y a personne qui parle ... c'est vraiment trop frustrant! La prochaine fois je porte plainte à la police [***]! Il y a des foutus limites à faire chier les gens!

jai le meme probleme avec se numéro de téléphone la je commence en avoir marde c est du harcelement téléphonique  il y a pas grand chose a faire avec ca a par de pendre iun avocat et de faire une plainte  bonne chance a toi

I got a call from them today. Never answered. Its ok if you don't answer because it gives people jobs for a little while until they get fired for no results. I worked for a survey company once. Went though training for 2 days and ended up working for 4 hours before quiting. It is very rough working for them. I never did that again.

Another whacko - obviously they are up to no good as they do not leave a message. thank goodness for caller ID, and others putting info on this web site. Pity the ""authorities"" don't do something about such callers.  My did not reply - that was several years ago when i first complained.
Perhaps some lawyer with time and who gets similar calls can do something????

Received a wireless call on my home phone - as soon as you pick it up you can hear the transfer and a woman with a Jamician accent asked for the manager, told her she had the wrond number and immediately asked if this was a residence and was I the home owner. Said she was with Federal Financial and my number was chosed to receive a prize. New car, x amount of dollars or a cruise package. Told me it was "Free" and wanted me to answer some questions. I told her NOTHING is for FREE and hung up. Let's hope they got the message.
