I got a call yesterday from them they used 2 different numbers 3177592630 and 317-559-1117 got three different names i don't recall all but one had the last name dunn. they calmed i owed for a 2009 pay day advanced loan in California and were threatening to place a warrant out on me for fraud. statute of limitations have passed for California and they must follow laws of the original State the Debt was in. They also called and threaten my Mother and Mother in law as well as my uncle. So today I called the legal aid office who told me it was a scam and to report them to the FBI so we called the FBI and they told us to make a report to the FTC. If they were a real collection agency they would not clame to be from a check fraud division. Also when we asked for proff by mail they refused and said you had 24 hours or we will put a warrant out for your arest. well its now been 24 hours and my aunt who is a retired police officer called even the police have confirmed its a scam to try to get people to pay a debt they don't owe or don't legal own. the tactics they used also if they were a legitiment company would have violated the Federal Law regarding the fair credit act. So in other words if they were a real company i could have sued them for 5 times what they clamed i own. They clamed i own 520 plus made it 900.

Another Red flag was that when i contacted a lawyer i know in California they even confirmed they couldn't do anything becouse the statue for fraud in Californa is 3 years. I never wrote any pay day advance loan check so i know i was good. Also guys remember whatever the debt that the state started in they must go by those laws. Just beciuse they were from Indiana didn't mean they could break the law and try to threaten.

if you get a call from these people call the FBI and FTC and report them.

I also wanted to add some thing i forgot to mention yesterday they clamed to be check fruad today they clame to be processing.
