Getting calls every day,. no one ever says anything just hangs up.

Got a call and they hung up right away

Recording saying the FBI reports there have been break-ins in your neighborhood.  I hung up right away since I have seen many postings about this scam connected to other numbers.  Caller ID said Indianapolis, IN.

Keep calling every hour, caller id says security.

Called several times in 1 day, don't say anything.

When you call back it asks you to press a button to be added to the no call list.
When you do there is no response.

Bump Call. They just call and hang up.

Repeated calls from this number everyday.  I have asked them to remove me from their calling list nevertheless calls have not stopped and recurs everyday.

I chose their do not call registry.   They still call.  
I signed up for do no call online.  They still call.
I answered, waited to talk to an agent.   Asked for the website, the hung up on me.
When they answered he said "Security Technology"
Can not find any reference.

Automated message about the FBI reporting home break-ins in the area.  If I allow them to put a sign in my yard they will install a free alarm in my home.  I am receiving these calls on my cell phone which is on a do-not-call list.

They called earlier today. ID said Indianapolis, IN and I didn't answer. They did not leave a message so it isn't important. Figured it to be a scam and the people on this site agree.  I get 3 or 4 (or more) "scam" calls a day on land line and sometimes on my cell phone. DO NOT CALL works only with honest companies.  The scammers don't care if it is illegal to make robo calls and with "spoofing" it is difficult for authorities to find out who is really making the calls.

They called again this morning. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. First "scam" call of the day. I'm sure, if things go as usual, I will get two or three more today.ID: Indianapolis, IN

I instlled "mrnumber" on my cell and get no more calls from numbers I don't want.  It is a good, free app.
www.mrnumber.com.  You can put in entire area codes ( which I do ) or individual numbers, and your phone hangs up on them when they call

Name on caller ID was "Security", followed by phone #. I did not answer & they left no message.

We have received several of these calls. We too are on the do-not-call list, which we find to be worthless.
We did answer one call and were told the FBI had reported burglaries in this area. That they would install a security system for us at no cost. We hung up. We will answer again and tell them, the only security we need is our nasty Doberman Pincher watch dog and a shot gun. We doubt if even that would stop them from calling. What does it take??

They called me last night, so i blew my whistle in their ear.

They just called me again, so since i didn't have my whistle with me, i just told them to eat a dirty HIV d**k.

I have all the security i need from my Smith & Wesson.

Called, left no msg.

Get a lot of calls like these, sometimes they leave a pre-recorded message. "Blah, blah, install a security system. . .Press X to speak to a representative, press X to be removed." Is there some kind of loophole that states if the caller offers you an option to prevent more calls, they can't be prosecuted for attempting to contact those of us on "Do not call" lists?

when i finally talked to someone and very nicely asked to be removed since i had pshed the button over seven times to be removed the little [***] just hung up on me, my next call is the police and than tele, comm. dept of government. these people are a scam and are rude on top of it. my advice wait for someone to call ans get on the line and blow a wistle in the phone
