Hung up when I answered.

These people repeatedly call each day. The only thing it says on CallerID is "Natchitochesla" and their phone number which is 318-214-3567. I answered on the third call or so and the woman, who had a thick foreign accent, asks if this is the owner of such and such phone number. I told her "no" that she's "got the wrong number".

Then she proceeds to ask me what my phone number is!! Wow, really? I'm not volunteering any information, especially on a recorded line! (Always assume all call centers record your calls because most, if not all, are!)  I said "I'm not giving you my phone number, I have no business with you, stop calling here" and hung up. Went into my phone's settings and put the number on reject.

The woman didn't identify herself or the company she's calling on behalf of. I just moved to this state, so I'm not sure on the recording laws yet, otherwise I would've told her that I was also recording the call. Check your state's phone recording laws, because this might be a helpful tool to help get harassers off your back.

Funny, they won't tell you about them but they sure want the nitty gritty on you! I could hear that she was in a call center so this is probably telemarketer spam or an annoying collector. I searched Google using their phone number and all it can find is that it's a Bellsouth/AT&T landline in Louisiana. I have no debts, so hopefully they'll figure out they really are calling the wrong number and they'll move on.

I dont appreciate people with no lives calling me and not respond. Im not about to put up with that but if you come to my property I will use my force to put you in your place. Get a freakin life. Loosers

Called twice today.  Caller ID just says "Louisiana".  Since I don't know anyone in Louisiana, I didn't answer but the fact that it just showed a state on the ID tells me this is a cell phone. No message either time.

Do not know anyone with this number or from this state.

Answered but there was no one on the other end and it hung up by itself a few seconds later.

Another company openly VIOLATING FEDERAL LAW (I've been on the DNC list since its inception, no excuses!!) and getting by with it - not return phone number, no message, just a hang-up.  Disgusted with the whole deal!

A CHINESE LADY CALL AND SAID I NEED TO SPEAK WITH THE BUSINES OWNER. THEN SAID THIS IS A BUSINESS? THEN HUNG UP ON ME AND CALLED BACK AGAIN AND HUNG UP! GET THIS CRAP OFF OUR PHONE LINES!

A male caller called on 2013-09-18 at 20:06 EDT.  The background of the caller was difficult to understand.  The caller hung up.  I called back to have a fax answer.

I got a call and when I asked the person with a foreign accent to repeat where they were calling from, she ( or he) hung up.

Get a life, you worthless scammers!  And leave me out of it yours!!   I have been registered with DO NOT CALL for years now and all of a sudden, I'm getting a rash of stupid phone calls like this one!

Missed the call on my phone.  Two minutes later the same number calls my wife's phone.  I answer and a lady with a foreign accent told me my number was selected to win 25,000 dollars.  I inturruped and said the number was on the do not call list and that I was reporting them.  They hung up.  I called back and get just a few beeps.

Annoying call during quie evening hours.   On my cell!,

I get repeated calls, several times a day from this number.  They never say a word, just hang up.  Incredibly intrusive for no reason.

Best thing is NOT to just yell at them and hang-up.  What I do (I am retired so I have time), is go along with whatever they are saying.  Act excited, act like this is the best day.  Let the call drag on for however long you can.  If they need credit card numbers and names, make one's up I use Hugh Jasshole, or Anita [***], Eaten Beaver, whatever... Then when I give them a CC# I make it up.  I act confused, Why is not working, I call for my wife, she isn't answering, I ask caller to hold on a moment, I take phone with me and keep calling aloud for wife, Oh Know I find wife, unconscious, or cheating on me with another man, or taking a [***].  I make a whole scene, I yell scream, Then while this is happening, i'm still asking them details on their "deal", I get them to hang-up on me.  I have had supervisors come on the phone, managers, whomever.  I make a whole deal of it.  So much more fun when they have to hang up on you after wasting 15min upselling and believing they have a sell on their hands.  Alternatively, when I know they are calling, I'll pick up like I have called them.  I am trying to sell them sweaters, I go on and on about the sweaters, please buy my sweater, I have these sweaters, I have a deal on the sweaters, you are the lucky winner in my contest with sweaters....etc etc, works every time.

I wish these A..holes would quit calling.  I get 3 or 4 of these every day lately.  I wouldn't do business with them, whatever they are selling, under any circumstances.  419eater has a good idea, but I just want them to go away!!!!

I'm from Natchitoches, La. and this ***** calls the house at all hours. My dad used to answer because 318-214 is a popular local cell phone prefix. It's only funny to me because I've gotten scam calls at home and on my cell from area codes and international numbers, but never one from my home town. Usually, we both ignore calls we don't know, but this one was tricky because I always answer a local number. It's a small town. At worst a call from a local number is a wrong dial. We know now to ignore it but the annoying part is the MFer calls in the early morning hours, and definitely calls multiple times a day.

Another call from these SOB's.  They wait until the answering machine comes on, then leave me a loud shrill sound, then hang up. I wish I could return the favor.

They called 3 times in the past few days. Didn't leave a message.

REALLY!!! HOW MANY TIMES???

We have been receiving phone calls from this number for months now.  All hours...ANY day!  Sunday night @ 9:00 pm, Saturday morning @ 8:00 am, Monday-Friday various hours!!!  Don't answer it...just let machine pick
it up.  They stay on long enough for us to hear background noise then hang up.  We are on ALL DO NOT CALL LISTS (National, Federal & State).  Our phone number is even UNLISTED!  Doesn't stop this person!
