Just got a call from 318-321-5252 and when I picked up the phone and said "hello," I heard a loud beep then nothing. After about 10 seconds it disconnected.

I received a call from this number (318-321-5252) twice today, once when I wasn't home and they didn't leave a message. The second time they called it was almost 8:00 PM and I was home: the person asked for someone by name, but I accidentally hung up on them before I could tell them that they must have a wrong number?

Also, the Caller ID just said SSI

Also got the same Caller ID saying SSI. And also got the same beep with nothing. How can they represent the government using the acronym SSI?

Been getting calls from 318-321-5252 and 318-321-5416. They say nothing, just a beep. I had a neighbor down the road call me one afternoon and ask if I had been calling her house to  sell her insurance. I replied with a "No". Well, I assured her I would get to the bottom of it and called my service provider, and amazingly found out that they were tapping into my phone number and making local calls on it.. Something huh!! All I was told be the service representative was,"Don't answer the call. They usually will give up after a while". Two of the number come from the 318 A/C and the other is a 662 number.

Beware people, big brother is watching and listening.

I received a call with this same number 318 321 5252, which shows as SSI. I heard a beep and waited for a moment, The caller asked for someone at lives at my address but I told them not in. I asked if there was a message, she said no it was about an issued that happened locally. I tried to look up the number but was not successful, but then google the number to find this site. This is the 3rd day in a row we have received some type of scammer call. The carrier for this number shows to be AT&T and located in Alexandria La.

I took this call.  They said they were a survey company & they asked alot of questions about politics & Islamic terrorist groups.  The interviewer had a strong accent.  Said they were called Survey Sampling doing national market research.  When I asked them what they were doing with this information she quickly hung up.  I am concerned now that I have been taken by some phishing scam.  Can anyone shed some light on this?

They are not representing the Government since their is no Government agency with the initials SSI.  SSI is a Social Security program called Supplemental Security Income for those who are disabled.  Calls from Social Security would not display SSI even if they were coming from that program.

Caller ID says SSI.  But when they DO say anything it's those from India claim to be from Windows security.  I know it's a scam. If you fall for it, they can get control of computer and steal personal information.

I hear you. I received a scam call that showed up on caller ID with my own name and phone number!

I received a call from 318-321-5252 today on my cell phone. It showed Monroe, La. When I answered he said he was with a debt collection agency and wanted to talk to the primary user of the phone. I hung up. And I won't answer if they call again.

Always get a call about surveys. I tell them to stop. Getting real old.

Called for the 2nd time today.  Left a message the 1st asking to talk to me by name.  I answered this time the caller ask if this me (by name). I said yes but I would not have time to talk to him now or ever and hung up.

I received 2 calls from SSI with 2 different numbers. The first was 318-321-5252 and 318-321-5416. They called some months ago. If the caller or number is unknown, it gets blocked. I also received a call from myself with my number displayed. The last call was also blocked

Have called twice today and once sometime last week glad i found this and read before i called back or even answered
