voicemail left on my phone says this is my final warning from the IRS and they are going to prosecute me. When i called back some indian sounding lady (with the name of Linda Brown) told me all about the case against me for defrauding the IRS---somehow she knew this without me even telling her my name!  Had a blast with that!  Of course no supervisor to speak with...TOTAL FRAUD

I just got a call from this number. It made my chuckle. CLEARLY this is a scam.  Here is the message I received
"Hello this call is officially a final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 318-605-0585. I repeat 310-605-0585. Thank You." Who ever wrote this clearly isn't a native English speaker. That's besides the point. Don't let there people scare you into thinking you owe them anything. With that said if you HAVE received a letter from the IRS handle that immediately. Remember the IRS will send you a letter if they need to conduct business with you.

Said that is the final call from IRS before a law sue against me . This is a total Fraud.

Definitely an IRS scammer.

Call from IRS saying it was the final notice that they were going to prosecute me.  Ha!  Definitely a fraud.  I've had dealings with the IRS before and they never call, they always write.  I'm sure there are probably a lot of gullible people that who will fall for this though.  Also, it sounds like a computer robocaller making the calls so it's not like they have to pay someone to do the calling.  They probably have real, live scam artists to answer anyone who decides to call them back.  The only other thing that comes to mind is that sometimes the numbers they want you to call back are to some off-shore place that allows them to charge you enormous amounts of money for your call.  This one doesn't appear to be like that though since it is a stateside area code.

Another one of those IRS Scams.  They left a message on my voicemail.  So annoying!!!
