Hey did you call me? I saw your number on my phone and wasn't sure who you were

Called while I was at work - comes up on the caller ID box as Shreveport, La.

I received a call from this number at different times of the day; I didn't answer because we didn't know the number I hope that someone can find who the company is and stop them.

This is what I heard when I called them back.The magic jack customer you have reached cannot accept your call, please leave a message. We're sorry the mailbox cannot accept anymore messages.

I got a call from this number yesterday.  No message was left or anything for me.  I called the number out of curiosity, and the quote I heard was exactly as Shirley T wrote (about "Magic Jack").

They just called me and the same thing happened.

Someone called me from this number wanting money for louisiana police something.  The man didnt sound legit so of course I said no.  He sounded like he was intoxicated or on some sort of drug.  Wondering who I should report this to?  Local police perhaps?

ask them if they r a state trooper and badge number  I was told they will hang up a friend told me thats someone who keeps most of money and will give a little bit to state troopers association its someone looking for a easy ride

I was looking at "missed calls" from yesterday on my Panasonic KX-TG6843 phone (purchased to block over 250 calls) and saw this number called.They didn't leave a message, but it IS A SHREVEPORT, LA telephone number.  I looked at some of my other postings and one guy said he got a "Magic Jack" to block calls. He also mentioned this number.
There is a "phishing scam" that hacked a Shreveport credit union (got information on members and their family members) and are trying to get "Debit Card" information. They were successful in obtaining debit card numbers by saying "Your debit card has been compromised and you will need to replace it."  Some people fell for this scam.
Beware of this number and do not give out ANY INFORMATION.  It is a recorded message that tells you to press "1".  Hang up immediately!  Do not press 1 or ABRACADABRA, your number, name and address just got nabbed. They will continue calling.

Supposedly, this is LUPA, a Louisiana Police Association. I am calling our local State Police office on Monday.
