I keep getting calls from this number and have no idea who it is.  they do not leave a message,  I don't answer calls that i don't know.   I am on a do not call list  but that doesn't seem to matter to these idiots ( and that is putting it midle)

I kept getting calls from this number as well, so I called.  From what I gathered, they are a bill collector.  They were unable to tell me exactly because the call was not intended for me.  They could only tell me it was a "personal business matter." They don't leave messages.

This is a company called the CDE Group and they are calling on behalf of Verizon Wireless.  They are calling to clear up a overdue bill.

I have received three calls from this number.  I answer and hear recorded music only.  I have even let it play for a few minutes to see if anyone would eventually pick up.  So, if Verizon does think I owe them money, playing music at me on the phone without any message or introduction is not very effective.

Beware.  This may be a scam.  I have gotten similar calls from automated systems that queue up calls for fast-buck artists in a boiler room call center.  Advice: If the caller says you owe Verizon, or anyone else, money, get as much information as possible and then insist that they mail you an itemized statement. Don't offer any information -- if they are legit, they already have all they need to reach you by US Mail.  Crooks will avoid mail fraud because of the paper trail and the high conviction rate the postal inspectors pride themselves on.  

Go directly to the creditor if you think you may actually owe them something, that way you will know you are not being scammed.

Got several calls from this number - they leave no message, but I gather from the posts that it's Verizon Wireless calling to collect something.  In my case a disputed ETF - that I have refused to pay.

The caller ID on this number at our phone showed it was "CBE" group, not CDE.  CBE is a debt collector for educational loans from what we could find out - per online info found.  Also we receive calls from Continental Marketing - about our memberships in various organizations.  No messages.  When calling them - nothing but a recorder saying will call back or press an option to put on do not call - which we already are.  (This last note about continental marketing.  we haven't tried to call the 319 number about CBE.

Called my prepaid, secret phone. Now I destroy them.

Receiving calls from 319-432-7613 and 319-432-7619. Both are CBE and the recorded message when I pick up is the same fake "British" accent telling me to hold on for the "next available operator." I have repeatedly asked them to remove my number from their do not call list, but thus far it has not been done.So aggravating.

They keep calling both my home and cell numbers asking for Diana Porter.  I have told them to leave me alone - I have had both numbers for nearly 10 years and do not know this person.  My next call will be the attorney general for harassment and violation of fair debt collection practices act.

This number is calling as Verizon. They have been claiming that we owe money and is trying to get extra money from us.

daily calls and sometimes several times a day. no messages ever left. from reading others comments it is percieved it could be Verizon...in which I have no connection to. it may be a scam, which is running rampant these days. so I do not pick up nor will I return the call unless they state their business. If the person/company using this number thinks they have legit business with me....contact me or state the person you are trying to reach. or  by mail.I am percieving this as scam, or harrassment for right now.
I do not have any possible creditors or bills that would be in collections ect....however their is some recent medical that unjustly sent to collections stating I owe thousands when in fact I do not owe or owe 65.00 not thousands..I am paying on the ones I owe and disputing 2 that I do not owe. Any collection agency that I have disputed has written requests not to call, and will not validate in writting nor respond to my written requests to do so. Instead they send me letters to Call them. As stipulated in the dispute....all communications are in writting! Sorry but I will not be harrassed to pay thousands of dollars when it is only 65.00. though this caller will not identify themselves and it appears it is a multi carrier line that many use the same number. the only purpose for this when someone does not state their business is to withold their identification. If by chance this is a collection agency and you check on these comments, I will not call this number back, even to find out who you are because you should state the person you are looking for when you call. It has come to my attention that it is a trick of collectors to give a false name of who they are calling for....as they are instead documenting you called them and make up lies on what is being said, and it is a probing tactic as well....as they will not tell you who they are until you state who you are when you call them.
Sure their may be some people out their who may be avoiding  collectors....and the collector thinks in his mind every person is dodging. In my case I want to resolve and clarify any misunderstandings you have in regards to any money you THINK I owe. I have responded by mail to the ones trying to collect wrong amounts or collect on ones i do not owe. COllectors it is not a game of how much money you can harrass out of me....Its a matter of resolving to the true and accurate amount...but they do not want to hear or allow me to prove the 65.00 instead of the thousands. guess it will have to wait until I am served....but it will be the counter suit the collection agency will have to worry about....because if this is one of the collectors I have disputed.....you will end up owing me.

Yeah, I keep getting these too I simply block the number on my phone. I have done that with a number of unidentified callers. One can also usually go to their providers website and block unwanted calls there too. You simply have to put in the number you want blocked.

No it is not. The call is coming from CBE. Its a "get rich quick" scheme. Block them.

It's not verizon or anyone else. If you dial *67 before you call, you get a human. If you dial direct, they give you a get rich speech.
It's a scam.
