A canned voice message that came in on my cell phone said, "many can qualify for this program and can benefit from this program, please press 1 to speak to a live agent now.  Goodbye"

Another garbled message asking me to press 1.

missed the call, left a canned vm message, the number appears to be actually registered to a human (or was at some point) if you google it

Voicemail: "Press 1 to speak to a live agent now."  They neglected to leave me the garbled part!  Jerks.

She really sounds like she's in a can!

It was an automated message talking about addressing your federal student loans, press 1 to talk to a representative. When I pressed 1 to try and get off of the do not call list, the guy who answered asked me why I wanted to be removed. I said I didn't have any loans, so I wanted the calls to stop. He said something like, why you trying to be like that [***]. So I asked to speak with his supervisor due to his inappropriate language and not removing me, and was put on hold. When I thought I was speaking with the supervisor, it ended up being the same guy asking if I like pizza. Just when I thought telemarketers couldn't get any more obnoxious. And if you call back, an automated message says to press 9 to be removed from the call list, but it hangs up really quick, so I don't think it actually removes you.

I just received a call from this number. I get "spam" calls all of the time and I don't even bother listening I just quickly pick up and hang up. I don't talk to a lot of people and if it's an out of state, unfamiliar number I just pick up and hang up.

Same thing when I talked to an agent - Asked to be taken off the list.  He asked if I like pizza.  I said that had nothing to do with anything, please take me off the list.  He said it does have everything to do with it.  I said No - don't like pizza.  He asked me if I liked Obama.  I hung up.  Seriously....I wish the scam student loan people knew they were paying guys to ask if we like pizza?

This is a scam to steal your identity several reports of it.

Same as others reported, robo-lady says  "Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program".
I like to screw around with these jerks, so I pressed "1". Got a very noisy connection to "Omar", who guessed I was just stringing him along and hung up on me.
From earlier experience with other scam callers, I suspect these people are not just thieves looking to pick your pocket but might well be Afghan or other militants out to do real damage.
String them along if you like, hear them out but do not, under any circumstances, give them any real information.
Generally speaking, if you're on the Do Not Call list, you can be sure that any solicitation calls you get are absolute criminals or worse.

The Do Not Call List stops legitimate businesses,  but criminals are criminals anyway.
If you're on it, you can be sure that any solicitation call you get is from a criminal (or worse) operation; handle accordingly.
This one,  if he asked about pizza, was just pissed off that you were on to him!

Who knows what they were saying some recorded message.  Added to my app BLACKLIST so I will never hear from them again

Just got a call from this number on my cell. Only VM message was a computerized "Good-bye".  Got the number blocked now. Came up as follows:
319-984-4006

Received a call from this number.  A message was left that said "Good-bye".  It was obviously a robo call.  I don't answer calls from unknown numbers.

Three seconds later, all that is said is "Goodbye"

Called my cell phone.  They will regret this day.....
