Got a call from this number a few minutes ago. When I asked who was calling, they hung up. Caller Id displayed the number but said name was "unknown".

Got a call from this person just now at 4:10 on 1/16/2013.  The caller ID also said unknown.

Received call asking about how many miles were on my 2002 Toyota.  Caller ID read "Avon, MN".  When I asked who he was calling for, he said "vehicle servicing" and seemed to be lost about what else to say.  When I confronted him about being a scammer, and told him I had his number on my caller ID, he hung up.

Thought it was a phone no. of someone I know. There was a long pause before "Derek" from the "auto processing center" said anything. He was purportedly calling about my car. It has been paid off for years, and there's nothing wrong with it. I hung up on "Derek" without comment.

Yeah got a call from them wanting to know the millage on my truck they knew the year, as soon as I questioned him he hung up- kinda shady to just hang up like that- and it sounded like they were calling from a airport with all the conversations going on in the background.

I got the call from this number and when i answered the people hung up....

Caller ID said Avon, MN. (up near St. Cloud).  Wasn't home when they called...but since I have a Toyota from the time range others are referencing I'm guessing that's why they're calling.

They called and said they'd like to talk about our 2006 Rav 4. WTF, why do they even know about the vehicles we own?

Very shady guy - he hung up after questioned. Never mentioned what the service being offered was. SCAM ALERT!

Got a call asking for my son.  I knew it was a scammer, no one ever calls my son by his formal name.  And he mispronounced our last name.  I told him he wasn't home.  When he asked when he would be in I told him he was stationed overseas so probably not for awhile.  Dumba**es.  He just said "Holy SH**!" and hung up.  The background noise sounded like he was in a parking ramp.
