keeps calling and texting my son. We want this person to stop!

They call at all hours from early in the AM to almost 9 at night. I accidentally picked up one time and there was a computer on the other end saying this was NOT a telemarketing call. It was a computer and it asked me to HOLD.  You cannot even tell a person on the other end not to call. It ties up the only incoming line for a person that is waiting on a call for a liver transplant. Whoever they are, it's not very nice. Not only that, but they "siezed" our line a couple of times. You hang up, but the call DOES NOT DISCONNECT. It was almost 45 minutes one time. I had to email the telephone company to reset our line.  The phone company says phones lines cannot be "siezed" anymore.  So what do they call what this company did to our line???

someone from minneapolis named josh has a cell # listed as this on his craigslist ad- SAME time frames as some of the calls listed above....I got a call-830 am EST 12/29/07 from this same number. Awfully early for anyone in my opinion.

Can a telemarketer or collections agency "takeover" or "piggy-back" your number in order to try to gain access to you more directly?

calls early in the morning or late at night. calls atlist ones a day. Won't leave me alone.

This number calls me at least four times a day! They're making me go crazy.

We have recieved many calls.  The ID comes up Minnesota.  I have talked to them twice, but they want into on a family member without explaining who they are.  unpleasant folks.

Caller has been calling my cell for serveral days.  I normally don't pick up from #'s I don't recognize.  The caller never leaves a message.  Today, I accidently picked up thinking it was someone else.  The person asked for somebody by First Name and I informed the caller that this was not that persons phone.  He then asked if I knew this person, and since he wouldn't/didn't provide the last name I informed the caller that I didn't know the person.  After all, how am I to know how he is asking for, simply on a First Name basis.  He then informed me that this was the contact # he had for the person in question.  I re-informed him that this was not that person phone.  End of conversation.  In retrospect, I wish I had gotten his Name, #, Company Name, Supervisor's Name, etc.

What ever you do donot answer from this number 1-320-534-4307!
They siezed my phone line and had to get the phone company to reset.

What the hell is America coming to when you can't even trust your phone calls anymore from being siezed by some idiots!

*57 will place a trace on the last incoming call. There are some circumstances where a trace cannot be made.  You will be informed if the trace was successful or not.  If successful your line will be charged a fee, $1.50 last I knew. You will not be charged if a trace was not made. Listen to the message for the instructions.  

Basically it takes three successful traces from the same number to establish a pattern that the phone company can persue.  You will not be given any information about the call.

This company has called numerous times over the past few months. Varying hours!!! It's always a computer message identifying themselves as being with JC Christiansen and that there is an important matter and that we need to call 866-836-7831.  They do not identify "Who" they are calling for!  We always screen calls and will not answer --- especially since we have never done business with the company.  Google research of the name and phone number showed possible debt collection!  For debt collections ---if they can find you via phone...they can use a mailing address to send letters!  This company is up to fraudulent activities!

New tack this week and last.  "Diane" calls and has to discus a letter I wrote her (I've done no such thing).
Last week the CID was 000-000-0001, this week it's 320-534-4307.  "Diane" wants me to call back to 866-648-8591.
Don not believe that will happen, a legitimate company would contact me by mail (or have legitimate contact info).

Call me saying I have to call back right-way so they can make some others calls.  Don't leave a name or a company who they are, but they left a 1-866 number to call them back!

rec'd call fom this # on cell phone no message left; returned call only to get constant busy signals - call to verizon wireless to trace call and to fbi for harrassment

number on cell phone caller id. attempted to call back constant and contiuous busy signal(s). call to verizon/at&t/mobile net has numerous complaints on file - they are tracking this # once reported and fbi notified of stalking and harrassment.

I have added my number to the Do Not Call List but am still getting this call.
