THIS IS SUPPOSEDLY FROM CENTRAL ALARM MONITORING.  THEY CLAIM THEY ARE CENTRAL ALARM.  I JUST DON'T GET WHY A KISSIMMEE NUMBER IS CALLING TO FORT LAUDERDALE, ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE IS NO ALARM GOING OFF.

I have received multiple calls from this number and I just don't answer it anymore. I have signed my cell phone up on the government do not call list, but a lot of good it does.

Got a call from these guys on my cell phone.  They said my house alarm was going off with a wrong address, I told them it was a wrong number and then they asked me a couple of questions.  I work in Advertising and there are a lot of slimey Direct Marketing companies in Florida.  Best case - I think they are trying to verify numbers and contacts are active so they can be used by other telemarketing companies.  With their song and dance they are able to find out if you have an alarm on your home, possibly if you own a home, and verify your name.  They asked if I was Andrew, but my name is not but it was close, so it got me to reveal it...sneaky.  Worst case, they are trying to figure out if you're at home and if you have an alarm and then rob you...I'm in San Rafael California...I got another call a couple of hours later but couldn't pick it up.  I'm going to see what I can do about shutting this bull*hit down...

This a legitimate company out of Sanford Florida. They provide home security monitoring service; If you received a call from them and don't have a home alarm...someone gave them a wrong number.

We cancelled our service with this company today and they were very nasty. We have not turned on the service for more than 3 years but paid the bill each month. Just after cancelling we received a call from "THE FIRE DEPARTMENT" saying we had a medical alert and they were breaking down the door. I believe this is a violation of the law and my attorney is following this for me. If we receive future calls we can file a harassment  suit.

I had a call from this number on my home phone AND my cell phone this afternoon!  Not recognizing the number, I didn't pick up either time.  The same woman (it sounded like) left a message on both, saying her name was Lindsay, and she was talking so fast I couldn't understand all she said, but I DID catch that it had something to do with my mother's address which is IN A DIFFERENT STATE from me, and NOT connected to EITHER of my phone numbers!!!!!  There's been a lot in the news lately about scammers calling about security systems, "I've fallen and I can't get up" scams, etc., so I just assumed this was more of the same.  My mother herself called me a few minutes after both of these calls came through, and did not mention anything about her security system.  I will talk to her again tomorrow and double check with her, but I'm guessing this is a scam.  I would like to report them and get these calls to stop!!!

we had a call from this monitoring company over the weekend . It was to notify us that our neighbors system had gone off. The lady said police had been notified.   They did send a "security guard" out to check , however, my husband and a neighbor checked everything and reset the alarm. There was a power faiure in our area at the time  also.  But why in Flordia when we are in another state. P.S. our police dept was not notified as they said.

It's a legitimate alarm monitoring company.  Not a sales call.  They are trying to make contact, to follow up on an alarm -- burglar alarm, fire alarm, whatever.  They monitor the fire alarm in our hangar at the airport.  We have had calls from them when the water pressure dropped due to construction, and just had another call today, when the power company killed our power during some repair work.

If you are getting these calls, and are not a customer, it's probably a legitimate error, wrong number in their computer database.  Contact them to get your number removed, if necessary.

It is quite odd.  I received a call on my cell from this company (Security Network) and I didn't answer the unknown number.  They left a message identifying themselves as "Security Network"  and that a burglar alarm going off at a house - it was my nephew's house - they had his name and address correct and that the police had been notified.  Here is the odd part.   I'm not listed as a point of contact (poc) for my nephew's non-ADT alarm (and he is not listed as a poc on my ADT alarm).  His mom (my sister) is a poc for him and my sister is a listed poc for my alarm (ADT).  I know for a fact that my sister and nephew were both unavailable this morning and somehow Security Network made a roundabout telephonic connection to me with my sister being the hub/poc for both my nephew and myself (and our different companies).  I'm thinking the companies are probably sharing some kind of common data base (from ADT and other alarm monitoring companies) to be able to make that connection.  I ended up calling my nephew's wife, explained about the call I received and she hurried home - luckily she works like 3 minutes from home and sure enough, there was a police officer leaving her neighborhood and when she got home, the alarm was going off and the dogs were barking like crazy.  So for some of you folks who aren't listed as a direct poc, you may actually be connected via somebody else, through a common poc for more than one person.  Of course, this is odd and I'm just guessing, you know what I mean?
