    Received a call from this number at 8:38PM. When I checked my voice mail, there was a quick sound, like a recorded message, but nothing else.

    Just received a phone call from this number asking for the name of a person who does not live here...someone whom I don't even know!  The recording asked me to press "1" if it was that person and "2" if it was not that person.  Then, it put me on hold to speak to a representative.  I held because I wanted to tell them to take my number OFF of their list!!!  The man I spoke to was RUDE and when I told him to take my number off their list he said, "there is no list, JESUS"!  I said I wanted to speak to his manager and he said he was the manager.  After heckling back and forth, he said to hold on and then came back to the phone in a stupid accent and said his name was Russell Gordon.  I played the game and started talking in an accent myself!  I told "Russell Gordon" that there's no one here by the name of who they're looking for and THEN he proceeded to say that he wanted to talk to ME and said my FULL NAME!!!  THIS INFURIATES ME AND I AM CURRENTLY ON THE PHONE REPORTING THIS NUMBER!!!!!!

    I have a similar experience as the previous post. The person they ask for is Patricia Strong. I am going to report this number as well. They call my cell phone almost every day.

    They called me on the following dates just once.  Always went into voice mail, but no message was left.

    May 5, 22, 23, 26, 28, 29, 31.

    Got a call on cell last night. Did not recognize the number and did not list anybody in my contact list. The way I dealt with it was to not answer the phone. Bottom line, don't answer an unknown number--period.

    When i pick up, the recording says, "Press 1 if you would like to hear this recording in English."

    Since the recording is in English and i live in the USA, i am not going to press 1.

    i've gotten the call twice and my wife has, too.

    It's a debt recovery company called Common Wealth Financial.  They also do business as NCC.  I just called them back and asked them why they were calling me.  They said they were trying to contact someone else who had my number.  I told them I don't know that person and they said they would take me off the calling list.

    Answerd the phone, no one was there, I had to wait for them to come to the phone and then the rude SOB had to look my number up to figure out why he was calling me!  Very very rude, would not give me his name, I told him the person he was looking for does not live at this number and he said he legally had every right to call here every seven days to look for this person.  I asked to speak with a manager and he said there is no reason that I need to speak with one because nothing was wrong.  After argueing back and fourth he hung up on me.  Anyone know how I report these people?

    Call this number, its the Cell Phone Registry List..I was given it by a state worker, so hopefully its correct. 888-382-1222. I did and it only took like 10 secs. Hope it works for you.

    I have been receiving calls from this number for over 2 years now.  They have been calling almost every day for the past four weeks, and yesterday, I was able to answer the phone (as they always called while I was at work and left that "click" voicemail).

    It is a collection agency trying to collect from the woman who had my telephone number before I did.  When I tried to explain this, the man hung up on me.  I called back, and immediately asked to speak to a supervisor.  Again, I was hung up on.  I called back a third time and tried to contact the executive offices, but instead it sent me to customer service.  I attempted to explain what happened, and the man said "OH, GET OVER IT!!!!!"  I blew UP at him and completely tore this man a new one and didn't let him get a word in edgewise I was so blinded with rage.

    The number belongs to "NCC, a division of Commonwealth Financial Systems" of Dickson City, Pennsylvania.  I immediately contacted the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau and filed complaints with both agencies.  I then called NCC back and told the customer service representative that I wanted to speak to Mr. Kotula, the CEO.  The service represenative was rather perplexed and asked me "John Kotula?" in order to confirm that I was trying to indeed speak with the CEO of the company.  I confirmed this.  He transferred me to Mr. Kotula's secretary and I informed her that I filed complaints with the FTC and the BBB.  She was very apologetic and tried to remedy the situation, but I am now demanding a written apology and a written promise from Mr. John Kotula that this company will NEVER, EVER speak to me in such a rude fashion ever again, or EVER contact me about Taisha Velez-Espinoza of Lake Mary, Florida's debt EVER AGAIN.
