There was a human on this call but he quickly pivoted to "sorry wrong number." I NEVER call back, however, since there was a human this time around but with an extremely unusual caller ID, I did place a return call. I did this JUST to make sure it was not actual business as we have offices and Clients of our own in Florida. The line rang and then picked up with a voice response unit offering "low cost affordable insurance"..... yada yada yada..... BLOOP BLOOP BLOCKED.

Thanks for the informative post.  You've helped others hang up on another telemarketer.  Well done.  :-)

Unfortunately, when you called them back it only verified that your number is valid. They have likely already sold it to others. Just hang up. Don't engage with them, don't press any numbers, and NEVER call them back!

Robo call testing your line.  Then they sell it a million times to other skanks.

Got the same BS call and totally agree with Lying Hillary Clinton's comment, Robo call testing to see if it's a working number. After going to VM, I immediately received 2 other calls from others that didn't leave a message.  Google searched these numbers and they are nonexistent "Cloaked" numbers.
