They Called at 8:50 PM...I answered...No reply...Tried calling back...Get a message saying WE're sorry your call did not go thru Please try your call later...Then hangs up...

just got a call from this number, nobody was there

got a call today and four days ago.  said hold for message.  then disconected.  second time no one was there.  called number listed back, but could not connect.

I answered and after a brief delay, got a woman with indian accent that read a fast script saying it would only take 10 seconds of my time and I'd get a chance to win a gift cert to a restaurant.  And before I could answer she asked how many people lived in the house.  I declined and she politely said thanks and hung up.

I keep getting calls from this number but they did not leave a voice mail. How can I stop this for good????

Just got a call from this number and all I heard was in a male voice "you didn't call back" and then nothing

Keeps calling on my caller id when I am away.  I never answered yet, but is on my caller id 3x a day.  I tried calling the number, but get a disconnected message

9:00pm got call from them and a recorded female voice came on the line saying "please hold for a recorded message" overand over again, then  -click-

tried  calling back but call from would not go through.

They have called multiple times and I haven't answered.  Answered this a.m. without looking at ID.  Foreign woman asked for "Mr. H"  I said he wasn't here.  She hung up.  I'm going to see if I can block their number from being able to call.  They are located in Winter Park, FL.

They called on 8/13/07 at 07:22 PM...I answered, since I have seen GREAT SOUTHERN several times on caller id and they have never left message AND I AM ON THE "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY" sponsored by AT&T (but have always wondered if AT&T allows these calls if the offending party is one of THEIR CUSTOMERS)...A man's voice answered and said he wanted to do a brief survey and I asked if he was part of a telemarketing firm and his exact response was "Don't be silly," at which point I said I am on AT&T's "DO NOT CALL" registry and I would "be damned if some smart ass was going to bother me with some illegal activity"...at which point the low-life hung up. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THIS NUMBER BELONGS TO? WHY DOESN'T AT&T DO SOMETHING TO ENFORCE THESE OFFENDERS, ESPECIALLY SINCE AT&T IS MAKING A FORTUNE CHARGING THE GOVERMENT FOR THIS SERVICE?

I get the same callers from this number 3 times a week.  I have asked politely, now I am frustrated and angry.  I'd like to know who these people are.

I get calls from them too.  I don't know what scares me more: A) that someone would actually take a job working for this outfit or B) this company is able to find enough sucker customers out there to stay in business.

They continuously call and hang up on my answering machine.  I'd like to get a hold of them and tell them off!

every time they call I file a complaint with the national do not call registry.  Every time.  I used to get calls from them all the time and then they eased off for a while.  just got a call from them so i filed another complaint.

I personally file complaints against any type of solicitation at all, even if they are allowed by law to call me.

FYI, i did a search and came up with a result where Great Southern Water Treatment is looking for customer service reps in the area.  Included with the ad is a phone number for their human resources offices in Longwood, FL.  I havent tried it yet, but if they call again i will be calling that number.

I looked on Google and did a search for "Great southern water treatment job" and it was the first result that popped up.

I received a call from this number today (Aug. 31, 2007) for the first time...no message left.  Caller ID says "Great Southern"

I got the jingle from these folks for the umpteenth time this am 11:26 am. I can't tell you how many times I've complained to the national as well as state no not call registries. They are of no use at all.

Anywho, if you would like to call Great southern or write them a stern letter here's a bit of info for you:

You know, as an aside, it kills me that these folks are BBB members!

Caller ID reports 321-397-3980 as Great Southern.

This evening's tv news in Orlando reports that this company has received enough complaints that they are being fined $10,000 per confirmed complaint, and that they are receiving at least several hundreds of thousands in fines already.

If you are on the national do not call list list, report them at www.donotcall.gov or 1-888-382-1222.  If possible, be prepared with the date and the time of the call from 321-397-3980, such as from a caller ID or answering machine record.

Though not the case here, exempt are political calls, charities, businesses with whom you already have a relationship, and legitimate survey research (which will never have a sales component).

Stick it to them, as they hurt all legitimate callers!!!
