keeps on calling, doesnt leave a msg

Number has called me several times around 7 PM Central time for several weeks straight. They never leave a message. Today I finally picked up and the person said they worked for American Income and wanted to know if I had a Florida Driver's license. After I grilled the person on the phone, they refused to tell me how they received my number, why they were contacting me, and what other personal information they possessed. The person hung up without ending the conversation saying that they "changed the information in the computer".

Within half an hour, I called the American Income branch in this area code. The manager told me nobody has called me and the number didn't match any at his branch.

I placed a fraud alert on my credit report in response. We'll see what happens.

Caller said they were giving a free (fully paid for) medical card for having a FL CDL license.  If I were in an accident I would receive discounts towards my medical insurance/expenses. They said they could not mail it because of "fraud"...they needed to come by and fill out paperwork. They said this was something new with a CDL license and it was not required.  If it sounds too good to be true, then it is!  Fraud?  Probably.

I received a phone call from this number 321-397-4870 saying they sent me a complimentary baby seat for my car and asked if I had received it. I said no and asked how they got my number, they said it was public record and I proceeded to ask why they would send out a baby car seat to someone randomly not even knowing if they have kids and the woman then said, "what do you care you do not even have a kid anyway and you never received it and added that I not worry about it and hung up on me.".....very weird.....

This same number called me but when I answered no one spoke. I couldn't return the call to this number.

very strange- i just received a call from this number and didn't recognize the number so i didn't answer.  they didn't leave a message.  i did a quick google and found this comment page.

I got a call from this number and they asked if I had recieved the info they sent home dealing with child safety.  When I asked who it was and how they got my number, they said it was public record.  

What a pain in the butt.

I live near the 321 area code (Orlando/Kissimmee), and I have received calls from this number many times over the last few weeks. I've answered a few times and there is nothing on the other end. When I call the number back it just instantly ends the call before it even starts ringing. Really weird. I hope I don't have anything to worry about, but it is really getting on my nerves.

Received a call several times over the past few days from this number as well, and never had the "pleasure" of speaking with anyone. But as Cameron said in Ferris Bueller..."he'll keep calling me, he'll keep calling me, he'll keep calling me..."

I've received a call from this number 321-397-4870 today 12-17-07. At first, the phone hung up without having the chance to speak to somebody.  A half hour later a guy started talking saying that he's calling from American Income offering completely free kit for my kid.  He also asked how many kids I had.  He also had my email information and so many other information related to myself and my family.  

Pretty much the same as other guest users in this page.

Call from 321-397-4870 started today every hour, no one talks when call is answered.  Tried to call this number back and get message that says call cannot be completed.  Very annoying!

Just received a call from this # asking if I had my child safety kit.  Said I was not aware of receiving one and asked if it would have been delivered or in the mail.  They said someone would have brought it to my house.  They confirmed my address and asked if I would be home to go over the kit and fill it out with the representative.  Then they put another girl on the phone stating that she was the manager and she re-confirmed my home address and that I would be home tomorrow.  A friend of mine thought it was a little suspicious so I googled the # and found this site.  I'm a little concerned now because I didn't even realize that I was on my cell talking with them, they didn't even call my home #.  Wonder what kind of problems this will cause me.

Called at least 3 times today without leaving message. Attempted to call back but was unable to.

Female called to say that she was checking to see if I recieved my CNA license.  I said that I had and asked if there was a problem.  She responded that they were just checking.  I thought it was a little strange since it was a little after 7pm when she called.  When I called back I recieved an "all circuits are busy now" message.  I'm not sure how they can use the info they got from me, but I will keep an eye on my credit reports.  Maybe file an alert.

I got the first call about 20 minutes ago...  I answered and nothing.  I got the second and the caller said is Jennifer there...  I said, speaking... and they hung up.

I tried to call back and got nothing.

We received a call from the same company and I grilled her then told her to call back the next day because I didn't have the time.  She called back confirming what the call was about and then I put her one the phone with my husband who set up an appointment for the next day.  He then called his friend who said that we were getting scammed.  We then tried to call back and cancel to no avail because the number is only an outgoing line.  We then went online and found this site which made us very concerned.  But we decided that if they were a scam they wouldn't come and if they did come we had enough since to know a scam when we see it.  
Low and behold it was real.  The rep came and gave us this wonderful free plan that has not only prescription coverage but eye care, hearing, and chiropractic coverage.  And if you take a lot of medication like I do then you would benefit from the additional 30% discount.  And it works in conjunction with your existing insurance plan.  Also for a $25 fee a year you add dental, vitamin and supplement coverage, travel plan for hotels and rental cars, and 24 hr nurse helpline.  This is for the entire family with no limit.  The clincher is that the rep is a life insurance agent who is obviously trying to sell life insurance but their no pushy and it doesn't take much time.  I also told the rep about the complaints that I saw on this site and she said it keeps calling because it is a computer system dialing but they should at least leave a call back number.  So hopefully this clears a lot of things up.
Also, they do send child safe kits it they think that there are kids in the home.  It is a good kit because it not only store fingerprints but a lock of hair as well.  Hopefully you will never need it.

I keep receiving a call from this same number that you are. This has been going on for months.They were asking if we received the Ins. change information over the weekend. When I tried to ask her what she was talking about, which I asked several times, she hung up on me. There has been many times I have picked up the phone before this time and they hung up as soon as I answered.
Think I will report them to the phone company and the better business.
