This one has scam written all over it. number is spoof!!

they robo called me at least three times. first time i selected opt-out option. they tell you you've won a trip - once a trip to FL and next time to Disney....they give you the option to 'take advantage' of an offer and they give you a entry number which is not real bec. you can give them any number and they also give you an opt-out option to make it sound legit but they ignore it. i made up the promotion number, name and keep talk to them to see the scam...when i asked them questions they hung up immediately - questions i asked first time 'where else can i fly to?' second time 'if i have to fly to orlando myself , what are they doing for me?' click....anyone get more info from them.

they are almost certainly looking for a credit card number.

Robo callers (scammers) love people like you.  When you answer your phone from someone you don't know it verifies that your phone number is a valid working number.  THIS MEANS MORE SCAM PHONE CALLS.  When you talk to them they ROAR IN LAUGHTER------RESULT EVEN MORE CALLS FROM MANY DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS WITH OTHER NAMES.  Each time you press a number on your phone it notifies the scammers that they have a PIDGEON  .  IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE CALLER DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE.  Set your answering machine to 2 rings and the computer will recognize the machine and stop ringins.  If that is a real call let them leave a message, you can always call back if it is an emergency.  Many times when you press a button on your phone (any number) you may be ordering the scammers product like the $6000 free security system, the free cruise, etc.  Also the scammers are now using names of legitimate charities.  DON'T ANSWER THESE CALLS  If you want to give to a charity YOU CALL THE CHARITY YOURSELF. AND NEVER SAY Y E S they can edit your calls

The robo scammers thank you for answering their call..   but they already outsmarted you. ,,  Blocking a number is a waste,You just verified that the number it called is a working number.  There is no real person on the other end .  Its a computer for a while until you start talking.  Set your answering machine for 2 rings.  A person that really wants to talk to you will leave a message.  Keep answering those call and count 3 then depress the off key will make you a scammers delight.  Also the  DO NOT CALL LIST IS A FRAUD.  Tlist changes every few seconds and if a company wants a list they have to PURCHASE it. 50 states, a federal list  Think about it  You  may think you can outsmart the robo computer scammers but they have already  outsmarted you.  Robo calls are mase automatically made by a computer starting with a area code, exchange and then they go down the list ie.555-111-0001,555-111,0002,555-111-0003, etc.  Blocking numbers is a waste of time as they have millions of combinations. NEVER CALL BACK.  IT MAY COST YOU A FORTUNE,

No--not checking if you are home,  they want YOU  to answer to verify that you phone is a working number so you can get more scam calls. WHY DID YOU ANSWER THE CALL????????????????? Many calls are coming from the Caribbean and will cost you.  Your number has now been put on their computer and you will get calls from many numbers and names.  IF YOU DON;T KNOW THE CALLER-------DON'T ANSWER THE CALL.  Legitimate callers will leave a complete message.  And also remember--YOU DIDN'T WIN ANYTHING AND NO ONE IS SHIPPING YOU A FREE SECURITY SYSTEM AND BURGULARS  ARE NOT IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD..  If you want to give to a charity---you call the charity.

Got a call today, picked up the phone.  The automated voice told me I won a Disney World vacation.  I hung up.  Don't these people ever give up?  Obviously, they're reaching someone and making money, or they'd finally give up.

They called me today and left no message. Adding this number to my call block feature from Cox. Costs a bit more each month but it is so worth it. Only thing is it can only block up to 30 numbers. I've had to erase and re-add many times as my list fills up quickly with these scammers!

called.. instantly goes to recorded message to let you know that you have won a Disney Cruise.... asks you to press one to be connected to agent, press 2 to be removed.. I get this call at least once a week and press 2 each time.. apparently they don't care..  I am registered with National Do Not Call Registry and I have filed a complaint with the registry about them.
