rep: Do you want to lower your interest rate on your Credit cards? we can lower it to 6%
me: which card company are you with?
rep: visa, mastercard, american express, discover.
me: but which specific bank are you with?
rep: visa mastercard, american express etc.
me: ok
rep: how much debt do you have?
me: 20K plus
rep: and interest rate on your card?
me: 29.99%
rep: that's too high, we will work with your card companies to lower it. can you provide us the card number you want to have the rate lowered?
me: err, no im not giving you anything until i know which company you work with, i'll think about it, give me your phone number and i will call you back?
rep: ummm no i dont have a phone
me: how are you calling me then?
rep: ummm it's a call line, i dont have a number
me: ok then, im not interested
rep: can i call you back instead?
me: no
rep: we can save you lot of money
me: no

got the same recorded message indicating they wanted to lower my interest rate and to press 9 - but I hung up since no one I deal with would place a call without identifying themselves

Yes did a reverse lookup for this phone number after going through the  same BS everyone else did and reverse lookup said it's a land line in Florida.  I have reported this to the FBI.  They are a scam and are trying to steal your identy.  BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife got the same call. Qwest said that it's a land line in the Orlando, FL metro area. I traced it to a cell phone carried by Royal Street Communications, Lic. We live in AZ.

This number has called be a couple of times in the past couple of months. I've told them to keep me off their call list as I am not interested nor do I have any outstanding debts. This last time (2 days ago) I'll admit I was angry and a bit rude, but this was not the first time I had told them to stop calling me. I told the person on the phone, Dillion, that if they continued to call me I would consider it harassment, and that I would like to speak to his supervisor. He told me to "hold [***]." came back on the line and said to hold [***] again. (its not like I was pressing buttons or yelling at the automated system). I told the supervisor that he had been rude and called me a [***] twice and that was not ok, and that they need to stop calling me.  The supervisor tried to tell me that they didn't have to because they were not telemarketers and not selling me anything  and they were trying to help me. I said No you need to stop calling me, and she hung up.

Called back a couple hours later to get the name of the company to do some research and came up with a message that said this mailbox is full.

Clearly a scam, and rude scammers to boot.

Got call on cell phone, pressed 9 and asked them to stop calling my cell and he hung up. Clearly a scam...

didnt answer. This was my 1st call.

Same call, same message, same action...I hung up.  I Googled the number and to no surprise, found this site stating it is a scam.

Called me at home as I was walking in the door. Recorded message (ILLEGAL in this state) about lowering credit card interest rates. We are on state and federal do not call lists.

Just received call from this number; as I didn't recognize it, I let it go to voicemail.  No message left.  I'm also on the Do Not Call registry.  Guess it doesn't matter to some folks who are trying to steal your identity/money.

I got this call right after I filled out a job application on line.  Calls from scams happen right after I fill out applications all the time.  They all try to get you when you are down.  I'm on the no call lists and it doesn't seem to matter.

How do you report this to FBI?  Really do they care?

This is an unwanted call and I am on the no call list.

They just called.  I pressed 9.  I asked them to put me on their Do Not Call list.  The "gentleman" said, " I will never do that because I am trying to help you."  I said, "No, I don't want another call from you again."
He said, "You will be getting these calls the rest of your life."  I hung up.

I pressed 9 to speak with a rep.  When I asked to be placed on the Do Not Call list, the woman hung up on me.  When I tried to call back I got a message stating that the voice mail box was full & I could not leave a message at this time.  SCAM.

These people are ruthless and rude.

Didn't press 9 - 2nd time in a couple of weeks I've gotten this recorded message.  Same as most everyone else, we are on the national and state do not call registries.  I've simply blocked the # on my verizon account.  I don't have to look anything up to know it's a scam - we do not have any credit cards except our bank card....

This number calls our business! We are on the Do Not Call list!!!!! Something needs to be done. The rep. is very rude after I tell him this is a business! First, he states that he called my home number and decided to call my work number. When I replied that this is a business and whom was he trying to reach, he said ah s...... and hung up the phone!!!!

I spoke with a "Tyler" who refused to take my number off of their call list and also to put me through to a supervisor.  He asked me where I was from and when I told him, he told me that "this explains it", you're not to bright are you?"  I will be reporting to the National No Call List of which my number is registered.
