Left a message with a name and number but no reason for calling.  Glad I checked here.  It's one thing for my police association to hit me up for a donation, but this isn't even showing as the county I live in.

lets give the phone no. to the gove.and have him deal with these phonys

Called and left no message.  Caller ID says Brevard County, not sure I even know anybody there.

Got a call with caller ID showing Brevard County but on answering the phone there was no one on the line.  Looked up the number on Google and found these messages about this probably being a call seeking support.  We live in Sumter County.

April 02, 2012 - wanted money for injured officers - I said I didn't have any - the man got very argumentative and surly and demanded I be quiet when I repeated I didn't have any extra money in this economy - claimed he was Fraternal Order of Police - I know members of FOP and they would rather die than cold call people begging for money - I assume calls from this number are part of a con game. Who in this day and age would even give a credit card number over the phone? And a real police officer would know better than to ask for this kind of information on the telephone. They are the people telling the rest of us to never give this info out on the phone to UNK callers. My caller ID just said 'County.'

I am so frustrated with these unwanted calls which when I answer no one is there.  I am on a "Do Not Call" list so what can be done?

Received a call from this number last night. Caller ID said "county". No one on the line when I picked it up. We are also on the "do not call" list AND our number is unlisted.

This number called twice today

This number called and did not leave a message.  I called it back and got an answering machine saying you have reached the fraternal order of police.

I cannot believe the FOP aka Fraternal Order of Police are using a spoof number that shows as "County."

I would NOT support my local FOP due to the fact the Local FOP Presidents Grandson viciousley attacked a homeless man, beat him so severely that he was in a coma and is now brain damaged.
Nepotism and fraternization is rampanet within our local law enforecement.. Look at Treyvo Martin and the Homeless man... Ned I say more?

Hello i just got the same phone call that says county on the caller id and then i called it and it said leave a message for the fraternal order of police district 7 i live in palmbay they should not be calling here im going to tell them off next time they call my house and report to the police where i live and let them handle it from now on you guys should do the same thing we cant let them keep bugging us we all got are own lives to deal with well goood night

This number called me twice. The first time I didn't answer, the second time I did and I was greeted by a man that claimed to be a member of the FOP and asked for a donation. With no intentions of giving out a donation, I inquired as to what options I had to donate and he stated that I could use my credit/debit card as this was how most people preferred to donate. I told the man that I preferred NOT to use my credit/debit card that I would be more than happy to mail a donation in and asked for a mailing address. Then it got interesting, the man then tried to tell me that due to security issues, they would rather donations not be mailed in, so at this point I offered to "bring a donation by", and again asked for an address. He side-stepped my question again and asked me for my credit card number. I told him "I'm sorry, I didn't quite get all of the mailing address you gave me." He then replied with "I didn't give it to you." I simply told him that he would not be getting my credit card number and that I would be stopping by his house the same night to collect the fine he owed me for wasting my precious time. Then he hung up.

No message left.  Caller ID only stated "county" the prefix is from Brevard county.  I just didn't answe
