Received a call from "Name Unavailable" today (Nov. 5) at 2:40 PM.  

got a call from "name unavailable" at this number yesterday 11/5.
Dude wanted to ask about smoke detectors and got offended I wouldn't talk to him.
Requests to speak to a supervisor were ignored & finally he hung up on me.

Got a call from unknown caller 11/7/13 @ 10:57 ..left a 'blank' message. Does 'no call' mean anything anymore. I do not answer unless I know caller.

this number was used as  a contact number (that they gave to the business) when someone used my credit card information  to make many and high $ fraudulent online charges with my credit card

This guy called & asked about smoke detectors also monday, 8/11/2014.
My research on the # came up as Mike Holmes Construction out of Ottawa, Canada.

CallerID says Name Unavailable. Left no message.

Received a call from this number at 2:46 p.m. on 8/12/14.  Did not leave a message.

Received another call from this number today. I asked again, please stop calling. The caller says she is required and must continue to call me until I complete the survey on smoke detectors! What the hell?

Obviously, she is incorrect.
Although surveys are exempt from the national Do Not Call list, surveyors must stop after being told to do so ... that is, if they are LEGITIMATE surveyors.

Scammers pretending to be surveyors, but wanting to sell you something are NOT legitimate surveyors!

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The most effective thing to do is to get a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

Google "call blocker" for more information, or visit Amazon or similar sales site.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.

* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

He threaten harassment to call 5 times every day if I didn't take his survey. Literally threatened me on the phone.
I asked for name of his company and he got violent on the phone.

I just recieved a call from this guy asking if I have firearms in my house, I stopped him from talking and informed him I would not give any personal information about what I do or don't have in my home. He said this was just a survey and that I am the first person he spoke to that did not want to do the survey an had a problem with it, I told him I must be the only person you talk to that has common sense.  I would never let someone know what I do or do not have in my home for protection. I have also received calls from this number asking if I wanted an ADT system in my home, I told them I already had one which I do but not with ADT and then he says oh I see right here you do and then ask was everything working properly. I tried to call the number back and it says THE NUMBER YOU DIALED IS INVALID so you go figure.

I received a call today from a man who from the sound of his voice appeared to be middle eastern. He wanted to ask me about smoke detectors in my home, but I politely told him that I wasn't interested in participating in his survey. He then told me to shut my mouth and listen because it was important. I thought I might have heard him wrong so I said excuse me? He then repeated himself saying shut my mouth and listen. I hung up the phone, and then began my search to find out who this person is.

This sounds like one "survey" company that does need reported directly to the FCC and FTC..  They need to be made aware of the foul language and nasty treatment. Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

I just got a cll from this number. She called me a ma'am (Im a guy -.-) and asked about me having smoke detector. I said Well do you know that shinigami's love apple? So stop calling. She kept saying F you f you f you. I said thats not ofensive, and hung up. Stupid idiots. -_-

I had 5 harassing phone calls from this number. They wanted me to take a survey about smoke detectors and my alarm system. I refused to give out this information and told them that I did not want to talk to them The women was rude and yelled at me for hanging up on her. She called 5 times, one fter another. She then handed the phone to a man who was just as bad. I reported them to the police department and was advised to report them to the Federaltradecommission.gov.

Got a call from this ph# today @ 3:52pm Eastern Time...A voice mail was left on my home phone...A man with a very distinct accent was calling my name over and over again and then said, "Go f--- yourself and go to h---, ok." The person apparently hung up.

Caller asked for Anna, as have many others, and I told him I was not Anna.  The response was:  "if you're not Anna who the F... are you?"  When I asked him the same question, he hung up.
