Just answered this call this a.m.  A female with a foreign accent.  Started telling me that I have problems with my computer.  Before she could finish I told her I was reporting her to the FTC and to not call here anymore.  Block this number or report it to the FTC.

On my last post.  I typed in FTC when it should have been FCC.  But you all know that. lol.  Anyway, I reported it.  Maybe if enough people started reporting these numbers it would stop.

I received a call from this number today from a man with a heavy foreign accent,  claiming he was from Microsoft Windows. He said I had a virus on my computer downloading dangerous files from the internet. I should turn on my committee so that he child hello Mr remove this virus. He had my name, address and phone number. He was clearly trying to scam me somehow.

I've been receiving numerous phone calls from this number. I finally answered it and a gentleman or should I say rude boy with a foreign accent started talking about there's a problem with the windows program on my computer. I immediately stated I don't have a computer and his response was do I have on any underware. I though I didn't hear him correctly so asked him to repeat himself and low and behold he asked me again. I put number on reject list on my phone. This is said to be harassed like this..

These people called me tonight 3xs. First foreign accent told me I had a problem with my windows computer. (Not possible) I played along until he told me to "suck it". "Do you like to suck it?". I told them I was reporting them and they hung up. Immediately called me back and the male (American accent) said "I want to F#** you." I told him I would report him.

These people are sick and need to be stopped!

Scammer. Called pretending to be Windows Tech support, said my computer was sending reports that was downloading viruses. I offered to refer him to our Tech Dept (this is a business number) and he refused, told me the Tech person didn't know this was happening, and said that I had to follow his instructions to save my computer. Hung up on him at that point.

A couple of months ago, I got a call from a different number.  The number contained my area code, but a province of Canada was listed with the number.  They need to get their scams straight.  He said, I'm from Windows Computer Dept.  Well, right then, I knew it was a scam.  Do they think all Americans are idiots?  I yelled, SCAMMER! and hung up.

Last week, the call came in from this number.  I told him that I don't use Windows and hung up.  Three days ago, another call from this number came through.  I answered and said, Stop calling here, scammer, and hung up.

Just got a call from this number.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize - if they were legitimate, they wouldn't be hiding their identity now, would they?  Aggravating morons.

Rec'd call this AM. Person with foreign accent said my computer was interfering the internet. Asked me to turn it on so that she could fix it.  I told her to "HOLD" while I forward  her call to the police dept. She quickly hung up.

You were more correct the first time. The fake PC techs are ostensibly selling a service. That their tacit goal is ruining your machine or stealing your data doesn't change the fact that these creeps are in the FTC wheelhouse. The Commission has sued whole gangs of them over time.

Every time I get a call like this it reminds me that if they outlaw guns only outlaws will have them! It is illegal to spam call people on the do not call list, yet they break the law anyway! So remember when they outlaw our guns only the evil will have them, and you will be standing helplessly while your children and family are….

called me last night, told me I had computer problems... like how does he know what's going on with my computer? I have no problems with my computer, nor had I called anybody about my computer... he had a heavy accent, mid eastern accent... I ask him, "you know what," he said, "what?" I told him that this was a scam and harassment, to NEVER call me again, and that I was going to report it..then I hung on him.. jerk!
