I just got 3 calls in the past 1/2 hr.  didn't answer and no voicemail.  No clue.

scam call here too.

caller ID said ' A CALIFORNIA CALL' never seen that scam before.

Someone with a accent (not think like most of these scammers).

An auto-dialer that I fooled into dead air silence because it only responds to "Hello?" Only unwanted solicitations use these.

Left message on my home phone...asking for a non-existent entity, so working off some old list.

Person with accent, calling from a call center, waited though my outgoing message to ask if I was the old entity (who used to have my number).  

My machine does not answer using "Hello", but answers 'you have reached"

Rosario calling asking me to call back that he wanted to "get my information updated"

Scammers!  They have called our business everyday from 323-145-2562, it's usually a male with an accent telling us they are from microsoft and they need to log on to our computers!  But the past couple of days its been a female with an accent posing as the online yellow pages wanting to update our info!  Don't these people have anything better to do other than trying to scam hard working people!

Got a call from 323-145-2562. Heavy accented man, says he wants to register my business for Google and Yahoo. Would not give me his compnay name or where they are from. He was very rude. I told him to stop calling as we do not have a business and that they call 2-3 times per month. When is there going to be regulations on these calls? This is rediculous......

Our business keeps getting the same calls. They're really vague. and try to get you to pay $5.00 for your business to pop up on the first page.

Man with heavy Indian/Pakistani accent called four times within 15 minutes. First he wanted to speak to whoever is in charge of yellow page advertising.  Told him to go to blazes.

Second call I got a bit ruder

Third call I threatened to make life miserable for him

Fourth call he said he was trying to collect on our account.  Since we don't advertise I told him to go screw himself.

Received a call from a man with an accent who asked for the owner of the business. I said he was in a meeting and the line went dead. But after reading the comments left on this site I am pretty sure I will tell him where to go the next time he calls. Thanks everyone!

If you try calling this number back, there is a message that the number has been changed or disconnected.  Obvious scam or phishing call.

Heavy accented east indian male asking me if I wanted to update my business. I lied, and said this is a personal residence to which he hung up.

Same busy India-accented male.  10 Minutes later same "Directory" person called from 561-235-2727, which is a SE Florida cell number.  Persistent, aren't they?

Heavy Accented male could hardley understand wanted the owner of the business.  I told him he was not avaliable.  He asked for the manager that was me.  He wanted to update our information online & charge us $5.00 a month i said no & hung up.  This is not the first time he has called.

Heavily accented male asked for "Law S." Told him he had the wrong # and he hung up. Thought it was a legitimate call until I googled his #.

Called me a bunch of times same stuff as above plus said calling from "US directory" to update listing. Told them each time my wife died, I closed my office and  moved(all true) so take my number off their list and STOP calling me. He started arguing with me and said I was lying because I had answered and that he was going to have my phone number disconnected so that nobody could call me ...what an idiot.Makes you wish you could reach through the phone.

I was on the other line and this number called me 4 times in the same minute. No messages

I just got a call from this number and it was a man with a very bad accent who said his name was Justin James. I told him I did not like doing business with people that give out fake names and I asked him to remove us from their calling list. He responded he will destroy my [***] life and my business, and finished his statement with "Watch and see". Someone has to do something about this kind of call so harassing and annoying. PLEASEE!

Some lady with a thick Indian accent calling me from Yellow Pages.com to update my information.  Then she tried to sell me some "front page listing that will also put you on the front page of Google."  I explained that we are doing so well with our business, I'm turning business away and having to hire more people (a good problem to have!) and I am satisfied with our current marketing and advertising.

She responded by telling me that this is not advertising (then what the hell is it?), that she is simply calling to offer us an exclusive spot on their front page.  I asked if this was a free service or if it was paid, to which she responded & I quote "Nothing in this world is free."

Well, all of my marketing and advertising, with one exception (other than my personally built website), has been free.  My free ads (and my personally built website) are my most successful.

Doesn't quit.  I told her to eff off and not call me again.
