it's Refi Pal, a mortgage firm.

Calls in the early morning (7am) and later at night (8:30pm) and hangs up.

This guy calls about 4 times daily!!  When we answer we get no response from the caller.  I have reported this to the National No Call List.

Why does this idiot bother calling me from 323-207-8005 if he is going to hang up as soon as I answer my mobile phone?  He must be bored.  Nothing better to do.

Hung up as soon as I answered.  I didn't hear a thing and I'm not even sure the caller heard me say hello.

One other thing.  I started getting weird calls to my cell phone not long after initiating contact with CountryWide Home Loans about doing a combo loan refinance on my house.  Seeing that others say this phone number is related to Refi Pal, I can only wonder if it is coincidence or not.

I also recieve a phone call about this company and I was kind of doutfull.  I ask the person to leave me a website on the company which he did so I going to do some research and talk to the BBB before I do business with this company.  I may just go with some local in the Cleveland area instead.  I'm not even sure how he got my number.

Definitely related to Countrywide Home Loans. I've been slammed with refi offers from various companies since I initiated contact with Countrywide a month or so back.

same thing, received a call and they hung up, heard nothing on other end. I also contacted countrywide to talk to them about a refinance.

It's sure is related to Countrywide. I called them to inquire about refi, and provided them my work number for a call back. Since then I get calls from various Loan Companies wanting my business saying they are part of the wholesale division of Countrywide. Very upsetting! This is one of them, calls everyday. Thank goodness for caller ID.

Wow, what a cool site; I have the same issues and now I see it must be Contrywide becasue I too had a talk with them - not a very good one; wasn't super impressed with they guy I talked to and he never called me back.  Well, I wish there was something that could be done - but really don't have the time to try - at least I know I can start rejecting the call when it comes in.

I've never answered the phone.  i have a mortgage with cwide and spoke with them about refinancing they NEVER got back to me on an answer however a few days later I received a call from a co (don't remember the telephone #) stating i requested a refi..i said I talked only to my mortgage company and would not consider an outside firm.  when I asked how they got my information I was told to hold, the person hung up and everytime I called back I got the run around.  I guess CWide is selling our information to a side company.  seems the theme is everyone here has talked with Cwide..that's the connection.

I am looking to purchase my first home and I contacted countrywide a couple of weeks ago. Since I see several people stating they had contact w/Countrywide, I'm pretty sure it's a safe bet that's why they're calling me. Same thing, call and when I answer hang up. I don't even know if they heard me say hello. I didn't hear anything on the other end, just when I said hello no response.

Same thing - contacted CWide about mtg re-fi and suddenly - 3-4 times a day I'm getting calls from this number.

Same- Contacted Countrywide, right away, started getting calls from various refi houses. Just got dead air on this one.
