Unwanted call

Immediately hung up when I answered

didnt say anything when i said hello

I just got the call.  I called back.  Somebody named "Robin" answered, and thanked me for calling back.  I asked her why she called me and hung up.  She apologized, saying that the have an automated computer program which places the calls, and sometimes they do so before the agents are ready to take the call.  I then asked her who she was, and she said the somebody from the San Francisco Chronicle had called me, so I just hung up.  Freakin' annoying!

called my work phone several times in a week. Hope to catch this spammer.

Received call (caller ID said it was Adrian Williams) and man on phone said it was from East Valley Financial and tried to get my credit card information.  When I asked to be removed from their calling list, he hung up.

No one on the other end when we picked up . . .

Just got a call as well, hung up when I answered. Tried to call back busy signal. This just gets on my nerves!!!!!

My called id said "circulation". Has called several times but I've never answered.

Several calls and I did not answer most. I answered one and there was noone on other end but I hung up because I thought it was a computer calling.

I just called thsi number back and a man answered and thanked me for returning the call and then asked if I was <insert my first and last name here>

What the heck?! I freaked out and hung up, lol.

This is spam solicitation or some kind of illegal phishing scheme.  I received an unsolicited text on my cell phone from these fools saying it was a PayPal Alert, which is false,  I dont have a paypal account.  I didnt even know paypal was still  in business.  they also sent me a hyperlink via text message attempting to get me to click on it.  the domain they used was paganelon.com.  and in the hyperlink they mispelled paypal to be pay pol account.  red flag
