(323) 281-1384 Called. After what she said, pushed "5". Hoping, they quit call'g while I'm doing something.

Just got a call from this number.  The caller ID was "CA."  Presumed telemarketer, or worse.

The caller id on this number is just CA.  They left a recorded message on my VM saying that as a senior I qualified for $3,000 in free groceries.  There may have been more but I deleted the VM at that point and put them in my block list.  This number is part of thousands of numbers from CallerID4You, a known telemarketing robocall spammer.  There's a web site if you google with information on how and to whom you report them.  Lots of forms to fill out so I just blocked them instead.  May they all go to H*ll.  

I NEVER answer unknown callers & I strongly agree w/EoC, stop picking up the phone if you don't recognize the #, if it were important/or maybe not, whoever call'd will leave a message, geez!!!

My solution: I've gotten so sick and tired of all the crap calls from all these AH's that ignore the DNC list, all my phone ringers are turned off.  All they ever get is my machine which is usually a hang up at the message.  WHEN / IF I hear a legitimate message being recorded on my answering machine, then I'll pick up the phone. It doesn't stop the scum bags from calling, but since they seldom leave a message, I don't even know they have called until I check my missed calls.

I want their real ID & location.
800Notes.com and whocallsme.com need to ad "SCAM" to their "Call Type" box.

This number is a robocall about senior citizens.  I don't know what they offer, nor do I care.  I live with two elderly people and they apparently have given out their phone number to some shady service online at one time.  I am ready to implement parental controls in reverse because there are predatory companies out there.  

I called this number back and was given option to place on "THEIR" Do Not Call list.  Apparently, they are special and the Gov do not call list does not apply to them. The phone number here is on the Do Not Call Registry. I should probably report them, but I don't know if one of the senior citizens here gave them permission to call. A quandary.

I must give the company credit though in that they offer opting out of getting calls.  However, they say that it could take 72 hours to take place. I'm not waiting.  I utilized *80 on phone to block any call from this number.  This is if you have phone service through Comcast. I'm guessing other phone carriers have something similar.

 How many times does a person need to tell this company to stop calling my number  I'm on the NATIONAL NO CALL LIST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  plus when you hang up on them  wait two minutes  they're still on the line  which in Washington is against the law  so my next call will be to the state attorney general and to the operator's  I hope your parents are proud of what you are doing for a living.

When I obtained the calling number from *69 and called the number back, I was told that I had opted in to receive such calls when I asked for the company's name to put in the donotcall.gov complaint form. The company likely tells its employees to use that excuse whenever they receive such complaints about their practice of ignoring the federal do not call list. You should file a complaint, because the company is likely simply using that tactic to forestall complaints being filed. Perhaps if enough people file a complaint at the donotcall.gove site, the company will be fined, though, even if that happens, it is probably unlikely that the fine would be stiff enough to put them out of business or even get them to change their practice of ignoring the list, but at least their might be some penalty applied to them.

Just called, left no message.  I agree with all the posters who say DON'T ANSWER the phone.  Sometimes I do answer because someone in the house is sleeping or I grab the phone without checking the caller ID first......then I get mad at myself!  Just don't answer is good advice.

your seniors probably never gave out their telephone number to anyone, I know I didn't and they still called me. Because they are old don't jump to a conclusion to fast .Just because they are old doesn't make them wrong or foolish.

Robo call: "Senior Citizens, Listen Closely to this message!" Says you can qualify for free certificates to save $3,000 in groceries and a free medical alert device. Yes they will give you a free device, but the monthly fee is expensive. I get this call regularly with different numbers in the caller id.

I answer these calls so I can post the info here so you folks can look up who's calling.

When I get unsolicited telemarketing calls - I state "this is the answering service, may I take a message"
Usually works like a charm and they hang up.

Just got a VM here as well and like your suggestion. Why they don't have that option is baffling considering most of the calls ARE scams! What about it 800notes.com? Care to get with the program or should we start using one of the other myrid of scam call reporting sites and just avoid this site altogether? You need to respond to users or you'll just go away like so many before you when we find one that will...

I get calls from this number a lot, I never pick up the phone unless I know the number or a PERSON identifies who they are and why they are calling.  
This number never leaves a message, so they can just keep on calling and I'll keep on ignoring them.

I got a call from this number yesterday.  I didn't answer, but I was still curious as to who it was, so I came here and found out. A scam aimed at seniors.

Called , Left no message. When I get calls I do not recognize I do not answer and then I block their number, with my call blocker.
