This is a company called Convergent Outsourcing. They are a collections company. They are based somewhere in Texas but now they have local area codes to call from.

This number has called me several times over the past couple weeks.  Usually I get 1 call a day.  They do not leave a message.

This is a collection agency when, if you pick up, tries to get you to pay bills that are no longer collectible. They're relentless. If you don't pick up they won't leave a message. They continue to call my cell phone. I'm reporting them to the FCC for harrassment.

I get calls from this number regularly and they don't leave a message.

SO frustrating!  When I even attempt to accept the call and the auto attendant says "your call is very important to us...", ten "your call is being transferred, then I get transferred to a VOICE MAIL!  I tried to let them talk to me twice now - done.

They are trying to collect something that was in a bankruptcy. From 1989!!! Also my phone is a prepaid phone!

This Company Calls From an AUTOMATED service and then leaves you on hold for ten minutes then NEVER picked up their side of the call. . .

The debt is 16 years old from My EX-Wife that I divorced 15 years ago.

They Buy the debt Accounts for literally 1% of the debt (sometimes even less).  and then try and collect the whole thing.

These people are harassing debt collectors who have bought an ancient list and have no legal basis for collecting this either OLD, SETTLED or FALSE debt. Fax & Send this letter inserting your own information- Certified Return Receipt Mail ONLY

Pursuant to my rights under Federal Debt Collection Laws, I am requesting that you cease and desist communication with me, as well as my family and friends, in relation to this and all other alleged debts you claim I owe. You are hereby notified that if you do not comply with this request, I will immediately file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the (your state) Attorney General’s office. Civil and criminal claims will be pursued. If anyone has Time Warner phone service or Verizon, you can BLOCK their numbers at the source. Go to the whatever website and go to my account. Then Services. Under the services window, they have call blocking. You can have up to 30 numbers, I believe. Type in the offending number and no more calls! When it fills, then I guess you can remove any old numbers. Works like a charm.

I continue to receive between one and two calls per day for an individual that has no association with my telephone number. I have either held for several minutes only to be disconnected or left messages that there is an error and this is my business phone so remove me from the robo dial.
THE CALLS STILL CONTINUE AFTER ALMOST 6 MONTHS!

"Purported IRS Officer- Julie Smith called on an automated message that said “extremely time sensitive”...last week from : 202-241-8224; Today 10-14-14, 2 calls came in from "Julie Smith" looking for someone else we know. She asked us to go get them or press a # if we know them. Since we screen our calls we just ignored the message. In my research, this company may purport to be a collections agency, but they are really PHISHING SCAMMERS who want to confirm YOUR PHONE NUMBER!  Many 202 #’s are associated with this name as well.

The number came in from Julie Smith from the new area code of 323-331-9709 & 323-331-9711

SCAMMER - Do not answer - block caller if possible.

This company is based in Renton, WA and now using local area codes such as 323 and 661 as well.  If I am not mistaken, this is spoofing with the intent to deceive the recipient.  I will be filling a complaint with the FCC and the FTC for violation of the 5-day notice as these calls started almost two weeks ago and no such notice has been received by me.

Got a call from this company today. I didn't answer as I didn't know the number and they did not leave a message.

I got a call from 3233319709....I didn't answer since I didn't know the caller or number. Didn't leave a message but I did block them now! I have time for bs.

This number keeps calling me and doesn't leave a message.  I don't owe anybody any money.

This is a collections company that must have bought some old data, they attempted to collect on a debt from my ex.wife. I have been divorced 10 years+

Over a thousand complaints in the last three years!   According to BBB.
