ROBO caller about refinancing

Calling saying they can reduce electricity bill.  Called on my work phone  I WORK FOR ELECTRIC COMPANY. They when I asked where she was calling from, she said community outreach and when I questioned her further she hung up on me!

Received a call from this number. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a voice message,

Just called to tell me he loved me.

Robo call with some kind of savings recording.

Called my cell at 10:10 AM Pacific.  Left a VM.  Robocall to reduce electric bill through the U.S. Renewable Energy Program.

They called. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. I blocked them.

Same thing happened to me.

The cid showed "customer servic" (no e at the end) and phone number 323-403-0014.  A message that I've heard before from a different phone number was left, as follows:

Female voice:   “…electricity bill informing you that you are now qualified under a recent bill passed in Congress called the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act permanently reducing your electric bill up to 60% through the US Renewable Energy Program.  The US Renewable Energy Program will stop the 14% rate increase on your electricity bill coming soon.  Press 1 now if you are a homeowner and are paying more than one hundred and fifty dollars per month for electricity.  Press 1 now to stop the electricity bill increase coming soon.  Again, press 1 now if you are a homeowner and pay more than one hundred and fifty dollars per month for electricity and would like to stop the rate increase.  And, if we have reached you in error and you want to be taken off the list, press 3.”

It appears to be a disguised solar ad.

didn't answer the call. No msg was left.

Illegal spoofed call, and spoofed call = scam.  Didn't answer (I never answer calls from unfamiliar numbers).  Blocked this number.

got called then called back and message said all lines are busy but we will call you back tomorrow.

Didnt answer they have called me numerous times through out the day annoying!! Blocked!!

Folks, stop answering scam calls!!! If no one would answer these calls, these criminals would have to get another profession.

Like "H8 SCAMS" above, we do not answer unknown calls - ever! These calls are always scams!!!
Never call these criminals back - that verifies that you have a working phone number - a number that can be sold to other scammers or used in their next criminal endeavor.

Recvd call from this number on Jan8 at 1144a.  Was not home when they called.  Judging from previous comments many
people got called by  this robo number  every day of this week.

Relax, people are reporting these here, like myself. This is the best we can do, report online and check here for information on these callers. It does help victims if not picked up, but if someone never did, we wouldn't know for sure if it's a telemarketer or scam.

Blocked this call thanks to the good people reporting here. What needs to happen since the do not call listing only keeps honest marketers honest is to hold telephone and cellular companies accountable for doing NOTHING to prevent or stop these calls. Clearly they are benefiting from it or they would do so. Consumers shouldn't be expected to pay for phone service which these paid phone companies do not bother to monitor or screen, or protect the public from.
