I rec'd a call from 323-410-2857 today May 6th. A man said he was Mr. Rogers and he was calling from the attorney general's office in California. He said that I was in trouble with the law. I have had 3 other calls like this and knew it was a scam. I told him I knew it was a scam and hung up. The person had an accent that sounded like the middle east, perhaps Pakistan

I received call today caller id shows: No Name telephone number 232-410-2857. I did not answer. They left a message stating this is Jason Rogers stating that he works for the Attorney General's Office in Los Angeles and that as soon as I receive this message I should or my attorney of record call him back immediately. If I don't return his call he wishes me good luck with what is going to happen next.  Over the last 8 monhs I have been receiving calls from various foreigner's with heavy accents stating that I owe $ ranging from $217.00 to $671.00, they are stating that I owe the money from various Cash Advance buinesses and that I never paid them back. It ranges from 4-5 years ago to two months ago. I do not owe the money and refuse to pay anthing.  I had a call from another gentleman yesterday stating that I owed $300 to United States Cash Advance wanting $300.00 paid immediately. When I told him that I did not owe the money and wasn't going to pay he called me a Mother F*CKER and hung up the phone.  I have also received calls wanting me take out a cash advance and pay by Western Union the first installment and then I could get up to a $3000 loan.  All the calls sound as though they are calling out of the same country, same accent, different number's and names. I am keeping a journal of all the names and number's. I refuse to pay and they hang up. They have all my information and have contacted me at work. I have had an attorney speak to them a few times, and that did not stop they calls. So I am reporting this to let other's know if you don't owe it, don't pay it...it is a scam!!!

I received a call today from this number. They left a message. It was a gentleman with a heavy indian accent stating he was with the attorney generals offices and it is a legal matter. They advised me or my attorney of record to call them back. He wished me good luck if I did not call them back. Scam.

TheY called me today and as soon as I told them I do not fall for scams they hung up.  I reported them to the police and then I called them back and told them what I did and they said that's fine then he got mad when I would not tell him who I was and said that they were going to call my boss, so I called them from my bosses phone and changed my voice. I told them I was the boss and asked what did you want to say to me? They said okay okay we won't call no more.  I had the same thing but different number appear so I blew up there phone all day and they never called again.

This is my second go around with these fools. They said they would have someone thewre in the morning to arrest me. Please come and get me lol. Do they really think we are that stupid??? My debt is for 486.00 and they said I would be arrested until I had a trial by my peers. And we know they never showed but it still bothers me. They had all my info., including my ssi number. Their law firm was called Attourneyyyy  general law firm. Lets get them, Have a BBQ and some good old AMERICAN hospitality..lol

These people are crazy!!!! I do not owe them and I refuse to be treated like  criminal by some foreigner. How crazy are these people.

Same here!  I've received 3 calls from them today - First I spoke to Ricky Martin and then Jack Cooper!  Amazing.

On my 3rd phone call from 323-410-2857 I was told by Jack Cooper after speaking to Ricky Martin that I am being sued - at least that's what I think he said - his foreign accent was so thick that I could not understand half of what he said.  He got irate with me when I starting asking questions and told him that I had just spoken to the Attorney General's office this morning after their first call to me.  He - in his foreign language accent said that I and my family need to be in court Monday because I'm being sued for $2000.  He then hung up.

I received a call at my job ever since that call it has been a nite mare every day calls at work on my working hours everyone at my job looks at me and probably even laugh at me at home since that first call none stop redial calls one after another make them stop please

I just received a call today on my cell phone it was a person with a heavy accent asking for me. He said my name wrong so I told him he had the wrong number. When I said that he immediatly hung up and called me on my work phone. Since I was at work I answered and he asked for me again. I asked him who he was and he stated his name was Justin Walker. He did not sound like a Justin Walker!! Then when I said I dont know who that person was he was asking for he then said the name of my company! How did they get this information??? From reading the comments on here it seems as though I'm part of a scam! I will fix their butts whenever they try and call back. I have a plan for them! I hate people trying to prey an the innocent!!

I have been called three times at work by these heavy accented men and they know my employment information and ss#...very scary.  They say I will be arrested in the am and everyone at work will know what has happened and I will not have a job!  I cannot understand them and if you dont do what they say they get belligerent.  They threaten if you hang up they will come and get me and everyone will know my crime.  I asked for a supervisor and they said I had to call them back to speak to one.  I hung up and they called back and I was told I was speaking with the most superior one and when I laughed he really became angry and was yelling at me! I finally told them to go get a real job and work hard like we Americans do and to stop calling me while I was trying to do my job.   Also, I told them to stay in the country they are calling from because they are not welcome here!
I reported it to the PA State Police who called the number back immeditaley and said they were investigating a harrassment by phone charge...they got nowhere speaking to "Ricky Jones" , but at least the calls stopped!

I have been harassed daily they have threatened to file a lawsuit against me. They say I owe them money and they call out all of my information and even used foul language and have gotten loud with me.

What is it going to take to stop them from calling? I got the same phone call on my cell phone! They better leave me alone or else!!!

I got the same call from Kevin, you would think they would have people without accents trying to scam you.

I have gotten this same call and my person's name is Curtis and I am suppose to be making a payment tomorrow morning and I am not going to make it because I have not taken out a loan from Cash Advanced and I don't believe them.  I am about ready to call the police on them and let them have it because I have gotten calls from some other people like them before also.  I know this is  a scam and I am just going to not answer their phone calls.

I received these calls starting today, however, the last two digits have changed but same M.O instea of being 5 it is now 2859 and they are claiming the same information.  Told them I do not handle scams well, however, I would gladly take the matter up with my local P.D seeing as if I have an outstanding warrant that they will just come and pick me up in the a.m my local P.D would know whats going on... Instead, they quickly hung up, then continued to move forward with calling me time and again.  I proceeded at that time to contact local authorities who quickly took my phone as they called again only to learn it was a scam.
