RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS # LAST WEEK - "HOME DESIGN CENTER."  TODAY, I RECEIVED ANOTHER CALL FROM THESE SAME JERKS EXCEPT THE HAD A NEW SPOOFED NUMBER
323 450-1148.  I ANSWERED THE CALL JUST TO SCREW AROUND WITH THEM BUT NO ONE WAS THERE.  DAMN!
CALLED THE NUMBER AND IT WAS DISCONNECTED.

I got 2 calls in 2 days from the home design center.  I'm on the do not call list so obviously what they are doing is unlawful.  Why would anyone do business with a company that starts the relationship in an unlawful manor.
After reading the posts here, i was curious and called the number back and sure enough I got a disconnected recording.

Got a call today - it was from 323-450-1130.  I wasn't able to answer the call but was curious so I googled 'Home Design Center' and saw all the posts.  Gee, I guess you really need to watch out.  Thank God for caller ID!

HOME DESIGN CENTER - THEY CALLED AGAIN!

I ANSWERED KNOWING WHO THEY WERE.

THE CALLER ASKED FOR ME BY NAME.  JUST TO EFF WITH THEM, I TOLD THEM THAT THEY HAD THE WRONG NUMBER.

CALLED THE DISPLAYED NUMBER BACK - IT WAS DISCONNECTED.

NOTE THAT THIS COMPANY USES SEVERAL SPOOFED PHONE NUMBERS.

How do I stop this? They actually called at 8 a.m. on a holiday! I'm averaging 2 calls a day, all when I'm at work.

They've been calling since summer '10.  They've called the last 2 Sundays before 9 am.  They called during the week and I picked up and informed them I'm on the "Don't Call List" and asked them to never call again.  Guess what:  Sat. nite before 9:00 p.m. and  8:54 a.m. Sunday morning.  There has got to be something we can do.

I get calls from these skanks.  The phone # is spoofed so if you call back it's not a working #.

I told the guy I am on DO NOT CALL and he hung up, saying have a blessed day.

That was a nice touch.  For someone who will be burning in HELL for eternity!

I keep getting calls from these rude people.  Easter sunday (today) at 9 a.m. they called.  I yelled at them and hung up.  I get 2 or 3 calls a WEEK from these people and I am also on a "do not call".  My call was from 323-450-1123.  They call late at night, early in the a.m. and I tried to call back and of course there is no answer. I'm going to keep a whistle by my phone -- maybe it will stop these calls.

Here's the deal...I signed up to visit Direct Buy and because it's more gimmick than anything else, I declined to shop there.  Right afterwards we started getting bombarded with construction calls.   Caller ID reads, California, 3234501130

Would this be the same company? Caller asked for me by 1st name, "how ARE you?" When I asked who was calling, male stated "this is (unintelligble) from the Design Center....." I interrupted his spiel, told them to stop bothering me (have had several calls in the past & filled out the DNC complaint form on each one) and hung up. But on the caller ID - the number read 866-0898 with no area code displayed. Is this a new way to avoid registering a complaint?  Tip someone told me. When they identify themselves, ask if they could hold just a second. Put the phone down & walk away. Come back in 10-15 minutes. Tie up THEIR lines.........

Got two calls in last 2 months to my unlisted and supposedly "do not call" list number.  I agree they are jerks and certainly can not be doing much business.  Sent letter to Telemarketing Preference Service, PO Box 1559, Carmel, NY 10512 to tell them someone needs to investigate this unethical Home Design Center company.  Also sent letter to BBB.  Hope something shuts them down.

These Design Center guys party hard.  I got a preppy call Saturday night at 9:00 PM and a slurry call on Sunday morning at 9:00 AM.  Then someone called back and said they would be over in a half hour.    Somebody must be giving these guys free alcohol to make telemarketing calls.  What a novel business approach "Drinks for Drunks Telemarketing."  Who do you think is putting up the money for all this foolishness?
