- ZaneI received a call on /18/2013 at 1:54 PM from a man who said he was from Microsoft and that my computer was sending out messages (over 4000) and that he needed to access my computer to assess the reason for this happening. I was suspicious so I told him I could not get to my computer and to call back later. He said he would and I hung up. He had my email address and obviously my cell phone number so don't know what else he/they could know. I am not going to give any more information nor will I allow him to access my computer.

- Michelle SmithCall from this number on my cell phone saying he was from Microsoft and that my computer (work computer) was sending error messages. I said well thats funny because you called me on my personal cell phone, but yet you say its my work computer and my employer has an IT Department along with numerous firewalls, you need to remove me from your call list!!!!
- Tired in TexasJust rcvd a call on my cell phone from this number. Same story, guy said that he was from Microsoft IT and someone was trying to hack into my computer and steal my information. Said he need access to my computer to make sure everything was ok. I told him I wasnt giving him access to my computer, and to give me his name again and I would call Microsoft and ask to speak to him and we could get it resolved that way. He then said that MicroSoft doesn't accept any calls nor do they make any calls. Really? Didn't you tell me you were from MicroSoft?? He then was then quick to add that he was a third party. Told him no thank you and I would have my own IT person take care of it.
- Sam Lanning replies to SAS624Same message from live caller: Caller woke me up on a Saturday morning today 3/23/2014 at 7:30 am. I answered and said I was sleeping. He kept joking around saying wake up its a workday and you may be in trouble. Trouble? I said. I asked who he was and he said Anil Kumar with Microsoft (the guy sound like he was from India or Pakistan). He then asked me if this was my email address , ip address. I said to him, I don't know you and so I'm not going to give you any information and I proceeded to hang up. Now I'm on the computer trying to find out who this guy is. Any ideas?
- HarleyGot a call from a foreign guy, sounded Indian, stating that he could "hook me up with college grants if I enroll in a school." He asked me if I had graduated from high school yet. I advised the guy that I was already enrolled in college and would like to be taken off the calling list. I hung up and two seconds later I had gotten a call back and it was the same guy telling me to go "F off!" & "That I was a stupid F'n American!" I couldn't stop laughing!

They want to sell you software to remove the hackers software, so I assume they want to charge you for software that contains hacking software so they can hack into your computer.

- Tamianth| 1 replyInformational Post:
The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!
