some lawyer? dude called...

its an attorney collecting on a debt

the person who called me from this number using the name "Tyler Johnson" and threatened to appear in person at my home in 24 hours if i did not reply or have a legal representative contact them regarding some "papers" said he was from a law firm. i googled the law firm and they stated they had no such person working for them - nor was the number he told me to call him back up related to law firm. what concerns me is he had location on me that i use to make political donations only and on amazon. what a freak. i am reporting it to my state attorney's office.

do you know what law firm because i am persuing them as well.. the lady on the phone when i called back would not give me any information

Just a call from the same number checked it out here online I found them
Verified my debt and the lady offered me a low amt to payoff and I did

I did owe the money but at least she was kind and never once denied my anything
I requested a ltr via email got it and just got my 0 bal ltr

I think the people writing on this just don't want to pay their bills
Oh well to each his own

I can guarantee that working for a shady debt collection agency is not going to help your credit rating at all...Shill! Not to mention the fact that you will never be able to hold your head up in public again. Or that any self respect you may have had is now completely gone....etc.

Why would anyone who owes money to this company take the time to go to this sight and make a positve post about a debt collector? Wait! I know! You just want to help ohter poor people like yourself, Right?

You obviously didnt do enough research on them no debt collector can send you information via e mail i hast to be a mailed letter. the lady i spoke to was nice as well but when i called the FTC they gave me a different story. I by no means need any bad marks on my credit and i have never had a credit card under the company they said. Also when i called the ftc the validation letter that was sent did not have the original balance or the original debtors contact information. there for to me it seemed to be fraud. i have canceled the credit card i was going to pay them with and contacted the attorney general and filed a report with the ftc. There are people who post on here that do have good intentions of paying debt owed but there where too many red flags also they made an inquery on my credit report and there is no debt to them on there and the letterhead on the e mail i got had a completly different address than the one listed on my credit report. Just be weary of fraudulant companies and scams. also they have no website...

I just got a call from this number today, and would have made a payment if I had my debit card on hand. I can't find the culinary on the web either. I'm pose to call the lady back in the morning to make a payment, but after reading all your posts, I don't know if I should. Is she legit or not? All I can say is thank each of you for making me think twice...thank you, thank you, thank you cause I don't have money to blow.

P.s. It wasn't a culinary, she was claiming to be a law firm or something. I typed that word by accident, I was spelling it to someone and typed it without thinking....sorry

I received a call from this number today at work. I spoke with a Miss Garcia who informed me that they were not a collection agency but a law firm that purchases old debts. I was informed that if I paid 4500 they would forgive my $13,000.00 debt. I asked for a debt validation letter and she told me she could not supply me with one because on ehad been mailed in the year 2000 to my address at that time.
I informed her to cease and desist all communincation withme until the debt could be validated, she then proceeeded to yell at me and told me not only would she ceast and desist she would put this on my credit report, then as a final insult she hung up on me.
All I can say is if she was working for a "legit attorney" she owuld have had no problem validating the debt.

Well clueless she is legit I checked it out.
She never told me once an attorneys office, she told me she was representing
a private investment firm who buys debt.
I know I owed it and I don't want it on my credit.
She was very nice and worked with me.
In my opinion most honest people pay their debts.

So hope that helps you.
Because I at least am cleaning up my credit.
My boss told me they are going to start running credit bureaus on all new employees and said that shows your honesty and responsibility.

the name Davis and Associates led me to this site. I received a voicemail on my cell phone today from a restricted number. The man on the message identified himself as  james young with legal support service.  He said I was to call back to 909 274 9297   . He read off my address and the last 4 of my social. Then said I was being served and only had 24 hours to call back or they were taking legal action. He sounded very threatening, so of course I googled the 909 number. From what I read, a lot of people said they got calls from people saying they were with Davis and Associates (not Legal Support Service as this man had said). They also referenced the 323 609 3484 phone number. That led me to these sites.
I have heard in the past that "old debts" which are older than the 7-10 years are being sold to scumbag attorneys and debt collectors for pennies on the dollar and they are trying to make people pay and won't identify the original company supposedly owed. Isn't this illegal???

This Company has No affiliation with the original creditor they scan credit reporting agencies and try to collect on debt that they see has been charged off.

Thats funny she said david and associates cuz Mrs Garcia told my Platinum Parteners and Associates..
