Wanting to log on to my computer to fix some problem.

Told me my computer was sending notifications to Microsoft regarding issues it was having.  He said he was calling to assist in resolving the issues.  Wanted to know if I was by my computer.  I told him that I was a computer tech and any problems my computer may be having I would fix myself.  He wanted to know when he could call me back to ensure I addressed the problems and then proceeded to tell me that he loved me and wanted to know if I was single.  I told him that I did not have time for this nonsense and hung up.

Lady said her name was Mia.  She was only interested in her "script" and didn't listen at all.  She said she was calling from India. After she refused to put me on the do not call list I just "told her what I thought of her" and hung up.

Computer Scam

Same thing with me.  They keep calling to say my computer in infected with virus.  What a load!!

Indian or Pakistani caller identifies himself as being from Microsoft and that my computer was sending out errors and was infected. I thought for half a second and realized that he was calling my cell phone and that my computer was fine. I told him I would get Malware Bytes right on it. He simply said ok and hung up.

Got a call today at 1:44pm from a male with a very heavy India accent stating that he was a certified Microsoft technician and they had noticed that I was having some problems with my Internet usage and he would like permission to fix them. When I asked, "How do I know you are from Microsoft he told me he wasn't from Microsoft but was Microsoft certified. He stated Microsoft could not contact their thousands of customers, but he would fix my problem." He rambled on without giving me a chance to respond so I said, "I'm not interested" and hung up.

Just got a call 5:15 PM EST stating that they were calling from Microsoft and my computer has been sending virus signals for the last 3 days.  I hung up and blocked the call.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER I INSULTED HIM SO BAD!! didn't even let him talk, Microsoft does not contact you. Be careful they are thieves trying to hack on your computer.

call came in on cell phone this afternoon....rejected call since I didn't recognize area code..could be  the same idiots  from a company called PC Help N Support....they use all sorts of area codes/numbers that are on the web as scams....they try to sell you '' pc support" plans.....Once got a call from  a person calling himself Jay Parker(with a heavy Indian speech pattern).
I've traced these folks to Atlanta as well as Hyderabad,India.....

I called back the same day but got a recorded message saying the number is no longer in service!

Man with India accent called my cell phone and said he was a microsoft technician.  Said my computer has been sending messages that it has virus.  Then he asked if I was near my computer and to turn on my computer.   I told him I am already on my computer and it doesn't have a problem.

I have gotten about three calls from them.  i have a Dell computer and they have been wonderful during issues with the computer and other problems.  I sent them a message to confirm it was really them.  They called me to confirm that they do not know anything about this strange request to remove malware.  They checked my computer and everything is fine.  They gave me the number for the Federal Trade Commission.  FTC (1-888-382-1222.  The last call from that number told me his name was of all things Paul Smith.  I told him I was reporting him, do not ever call this number again.  "CLICK"

I received a phone call the other night then again today, just a few minutes ago. Same scenario as above. I asked him which computer he was talking about. His response was, "the one you are on now with the IP address of 192.168.1.1" I responded with, "That is a generic IP address." The caller hung up. He called back and apologized for the disconnection. I then hung up on him.

Call today from this number stating the same issues as previous comments; Microsoft reported multiple error messages & downloaded viruses on my pc, etc. I asked if he actually worked for Microsoft & he stated no. I hung up.

I got a call from this number. He said his name was Dave and he needed $200because his son was in hospital. I hung up on him.

On 12-1-15, 4:33 pm I answered a strange call on my Verizon Iphone from 323-663-3803, Los Angeles, CA, from an unknown man with an accent possibly Chinese, no name, stating he was from Windows computer.  I asked him questions to find out who he was and what he wanted from me? I told him if he is legitimate to send me an email or to my mailing address if he had it, but I did not give it to him. He said it was not an advertisement.  I told him I was busy & on my way out. He did not send me an email or call me again so far. I do not have further information on this weird caller.

I just got a call from this number. The lady had a thick accent but I understood it was something about a computer. I tried to tell her she had the wrong number and she flat out told me no. So then I asked who she was trying to talk to and she was looking for the owner of my number before me. She then hung up on me.

Got a similar msg about 3:15 on 12/8, guy with indian accent, same number, and same story.  I questioned him and at times he seemed angry with me.  I even told him it was a scam and I hung up only to have my cell ring again from the same number.  I did not answer.  I have rec'd similar calls almost every other day for the past few weeks.
