Scammer.  I called the number and a robotic voice answered.  I blocked this number.

They have called me three times today. I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number. They never leave a message. They just called for the fourth time as I was typing this, I answered it "FBI Field Agent how can I help you?  This is a recorded line, how can I help you?"

This number calls and the just says Local

I've gotten several calls from this number since January. It is probably either Obamacare trolls or Comenity (debt collector). Either way, I don't want to talk to them.

Finally by playing their game I got some info on these !! ANNOYING [***] !!  I have read so many messages whether it's from this number or many other numbers these people use. A lot of the message talk about the " DO NOT CALL LIST " Well here is how these pond scum, grub worm eating parasites get around the DNC list. It's  a switch that calls you and soon as you pick it up the call transfers directly to the pond scum. I found a company that has such a set up and the more I read they started apologizing for the problems these company's/scammers are causing. They go on to explain that this is not what their company is about ......etc...... With this said now you can see it will never stop because these low life parasites are not doing anything wrong as far as they are concern. So I will go on pissing them off by playing their game all the way up to the point they realize I am not giving them any info or buying anything from them.

I never get a chance to actually talk to these slime buckets. I would love to jack them around.

I know what spoofing is. I don't understand your post me. Look up Health Connect <------- this is who the caller claimed to be with. Which led me to such company I was referring to in my post of a Switch. I believe its out of New Jersey. I don't remember. Unless you work for this company ?

I got a call from this number about 3 hours ago, but fortunately I was sleeping and the phone didn't wake me up. Just out of curiosity I called the number back but got a Verizon recording that said the number couldn't be completed as dialed and to check the number and call again...excuse me...it's the same number that they called me with just pushed the button to do a call back...lol!   I'm looking up the number now and I just put this number in my cell phone block list. Thank goodness for the blocks that you can add to your cell phones. I guess I've got almost 200 numbers that are blocked now and sometimes it doesn't even ring a full ring until cell blocker has it blocked. I always let it ring a few rings if it's not a number that I don't recognize or that I'm not expecting an unknown number to call me like a new doctor. But when the calls start coming in from 15 different states that I don't know anyone there I don't answer and there number goes on the call blocker list. Hope this helps some of you out there.

Your original post made very little sense.  Your second post even less.  If the caller is not who they claim to be then the number is spoofed.  By your own statement this is not Health Connect.  So what is your problem, or are you just one of those full moon posters that likes to start arguments over nothing?

I'm thinking Gomer is either living up to his name or pyle-ing it on.  Troll or Shill or Shroll.

If you don't understand, then you did not read the articles!  Maybe you should start with the first one!  And nope - your insinuation that I may work for them is rather *yawn* a bore! This generally comes from some one acting the troll! Are you a troll?

No? Then there you have it. I provide information and help here on my own time. I want you and others to see that calling back numbers could cause someone else harm because these criminals use and abuse numbers that belong to real people or business's as well as non existent or not in use numbers. And that you doing this could put yourself on the receiving end of just such spoofing.

This call is from the Los Angeles area.  All of the unwanted calls I have received from this area code have been for cancer research or solar telemarketers.  The caller ID says local but LA is not local to me.
