Clearly a scam number... tries to make ypu think they are calling from te US government.

Yet another number being used by Pakistan or India thieves calling themselves the U.S. Treasury Dept threatening prosecution if you don't pay their blackmail.

Called saying I would be prosecuted by a grand jury if I didn't call back

Total scam.  If you were the subject of a grand jury investigation, you'd have found out about it from law enforcement by mail.  Or by face-to-face contact with members of law enforcement.  Ignore and block.

Called to say "second attempt to contact me for failing to appear in court"  This is a total scam.  Ignore!  If you were in trouble with the feds, trust me, you would be contacted officially by mail or in person by law enforcement official.

Just had a call from "Dennis Gray" who purported to be from US Treasury, threatening to take me before a magistrate judge.  It does not take a tax professional to work out that he is talking utter nonsense and that this is a scam.

I have Vonage and it recorded the number as +011 323-729-3063.  That makes me wonder if it is actually a Los Angeles number or whether the 32 or 323 is an international access code.  The closest I can get is 32, which, I believe, is Belgium.  "Dennis Gray" did not have a noticeably Belgian accent, though.

Had call from same person as Skip_NC.  This is a nasty, hateful scam. Why can't my overpaid, lazy, elected officials get off the golf course and STOP this fraud?

Had same call as phony Mr. Gray. Thank goodness for the posts here. They quickly help people know they are being scammed.
