received a call from this number  at 3:33PM but did not answer knowing it was a Los Angeles (CA) area code but no message was left then tried to return a call to the same number which was a fax machine

I mistakenly answered and found that it was a telemarketer trying to sell hotels for Vegas.  Then I was called another[removed:lang] telemarketer.  I am sick of these GODDAMN telemarketers!!!

I did not pick up the phone when this number rang. they did not leave a message. by the looks of some of these comments I imagine it was a telemarketer.

I picked up this call not realizing it was from Los Angles CA.  They asked fom me using Anthony instead of Tony. I hung up. I called back to investigate only to get a fax line. Then I found this thread about slimy telemarketers

Telemarketer for time shares that calls you if you bought a ticket to a show at the 'V' or 'Saxe' theater" located in the Miracle Mile mall, inside Planet Hollywood Casino, Las Vegas.  

V/Saxe Theater web site states they will use your contact information any way they please, including giving/selling it to telemarketers.  

BEWARE of the V Theater if you value your cell number privacy.

I recevied a call from this number at 4:34 p.m. about VIP vacations.  I performed a star 57 trace on the number and a star 69 caller ID.  I usually cuss out all unsolicted telemarketerss, market reserachers, salemen, credit card spammer, and such who call me over the phone.  I have been harassed by these folks for the past 14 year;  hoeever, today, I actually was nice to the jerk over the phone, and mentioned that we were not interested in purchasing any kind of vacation deals.  I also mentioned that my number was on the Do Not Call List.  After hanging up, I reported the caller to the Do Not Call List Comlaint line on-line  because his call was a DO Not Call List violation.  I also told the caller nicely to remove my name from his list, and that my number was on the Do Not Call List.  I told him that he never should have called me in the first place.

Same as above. Tried to "give" a free vacation in Vegas for 2 with premium passes / VIP / etc. I queried how they got my details (knew my number, name, email, etc), and it was from Diamond Resorts timeshare in Florida (one of those obnoxious presentations they entice you to sit through in exchange for money / discounted tickets, etc).

Lesson learned! Never use real data. Ever. They keep me calling me from this number and another number.

Me: "Hello"

Woman: "Hello, can I speak to Cameron?"

Me: "May I ask who's calling?"

Woman: "Is this Cameron?"

Me: "May I ask who's calling?"

Woman: "Is your name Cameron?"

Me: "Who's calling?"

Woman: "Cameron"

Me: "Your name is Cameron?"

Woman: "No! Cameron, is this you?"

Me: "Who wants to know?"

Woman: "Lord Jesus!" *Hangs Up Phone*

No message just calls repeatedly.

someone with this phone # 323-761-2720 kept called me and pressured me to buy their package...Please help to stop them..

Same problem. Caller just hung up when answering machine outgoing message started.

Guy calls me and I said I don't make decisions right away. He says how long do you need? I say 2-3 days. He says a 3 year old can make a decision quicker than that! I'm not sure who hung up first.

They just called and hung up...
