Damon Ming from eploretalent.com (a free audition website) called requesting that I pay a fee of $69.90 for a 6mos plan to register with them for audition referrals.  Did not sign up because site was advertised as free, and I read bad reviews on internet about the company.

Not sure what or why. I also recieved a call today twice from this # from Agil West. First time they called, they hung up on me, so I called back and there was no answer. Then they called back, and I let voicemail get it, and he said he noticed I canceled my account. I never had an active account with them, I set one up, but canceled after the free trial. I havent signed into the account in quite sometime now. Not even 100% sure how they have my #. Oh well, I have an agency, but now Im kinda creeped out since everyones saying all the negitive. Not so much that he was in prison, do you know what for? Just kinda odd, bc there ARE alot of weirdo's out there!!!

I got a call from this number and the man said that Paul Mitchel wanted me for a hair commercial. He was quite rude and wanted me to pay for a renewal or else he couldn't let the casting director contact me. He said my subscription on Explore Talent.com was up and he would need to renew it. He got upset with me and kept explaining himself. I told him I wouldn't give him my credit card number and hung up on him.

JQ Called asking me to pay a subscription fee. I said the call was breaking up, he asked me to call him later.

I ran a background check and it turns out the company is a scam, and the people who run it are crooks. The Person who owns the company is a former prisoner.

that guy doesn't own the company. they changed owners a few years ago. the guy is Amir something. they don't do the photo shoots anymore b/c the photographers they contracted weren't doing the photo shoots like they were supposed to, or not doing them at all. they're not registered with the BBB which automatically gives them a bad rating. I did a Joico/Iso and Paul Mitchell show thru them before. no complaints. it's like the gym; you can look for free, but you gotta pay to use it :)

I got a call yesterday, luckily I could not talk, and the "agent" was aggressive and wanted to activate my account by the way. I told him I would call him back so I came to search the number online. I am so gladly because I would fall for this scam. My acting teachers always told me if they ask for money it is a scam but they sounded so true and almost made me believe that I was perfect for the part they were looking for. Please research always.

I also received a call from this person....many of calls.  he offered me a acting job, and I said no because I just can't remember ever giving him my home number.  I usually give out my cell # for everything, so I just told him that I wasn't interested.

So, they called me, and it was some random guy who had a heavy accent. I could barely understand him. But basically, what he said was that he had been getting a lot of inquiries about me modeling. I told him I would rather act, but he said I should model. He went on to keep saying the same things, that my pictures looked good and people wanted me, for about ten minutes, with me just interjecting an "ok" or "yeah" in every once in a while. Then, quite suddenly, he drops the bomb that I need to pay money to subscribe. I told him I didn't have any money because I was a college student, and he abruptly hung up. They've called back several times since under different aliases, but I haven't answered again.

the real directors call from the 323 number, the ones with the heavy accents are out-sourced from india. regardless they're sales reps for the company, if you're looking for an easy start, it's worth the month package at least for the biz cards that come with it

I signed up for being a model and I thought it was cool that it was free, and that I would be getting a call in a few days. Well someone called me today, talking about how I can get an into a photo shoot. He kept talking about how my pictures looked wicked good and a bunch of people liked them. And wanted to book me, and fly me different places so I could become famous.  They asked to talk to my parents to make sure everything was okay. Which I thought was normal. Then after a while he talked about how I had to pay so much a month or so. And then I said that none of my parents had a credit card and then they talked about how you can get them at like Wal*Mart and any like drug store. I dont know if I should try it or anything. I dont have an agent or anything its just me. What should I do?

Agent named Dakota really professional and nice sounding. But because I know better to check out my numbers first, again it is a scam and everything he said is true!!! We do have these auditions coming up here in Hawaii but I don't have to send some idiot named Dakota a check or creditcard# to get there.Lovely scam artists no one is safe anymore!!! Please let your friends and family know of this site it's great to check out these crooks and know better than to get scammed.
