says to call back this number and ask for Officer Keith Nelson involving law enforcement  action. Calling from Dept. of Treasury.  I called Dept. of Treasury and was told no such  number or person.

I received one could not hear him so gave it to my husband. He asked him to repeat and the guy got mad and started hollering about lawsuits and jail and hung up.

Got a message saying this was Jennifer Brown from the US Treasury regarding a legal case and that I needed to call back ASAP in regards to this case.  I googled the number and found this information.  It is a scam!

Jennifer Brown from the dept of treasury. She is very insistent. Call US Treasury and they denied calling. Do people really fall for this. Block the number from my phone.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.

I just got the second call from this number in the past month stating something about owed back taxes from 2008 guy said his name was Sean Williams. They wanted my attorneys information.

I got the same call today from Jennifer Brown with an Indian accent.

Got a call from Sean Williams who was from the dept of legal affairs - he was pushy and said he was going to send out the legal team unless I gave him $40k.  Ha!

I too got the same call, they told me there was a warrant out for my arrest.
Call the local police and was told, pay no mind it's a scam.

A lady names Jennie from the us treasury legal affairs office with a very heavy annoying Indian accent said a legal matter with my name is about to happen and I need to call back ASAP etc etc.  total scam! The phone number was 323 786-9847.  I'll report it but block that number from my phone..  I feel bad for anyone who falls for this crap!

Sean Williams called my parents house claiming to be with the department of legal affairs, and to have my attourney contact him if I was too busy... Lol

Half tempted to call the number back and harass them.

Have received several calls that are mostly unintelligible leaving a phone number to call back.  Received a readable voice mail message today for Christy and Courtney (no one by either of those names or anything close to it at our home) from John Davis with the Department of Legal Affairs.

Dept of legal affairs with heavy foreign accent. Gave me call back number the same as what was on caller ID and said Danny Morrison is handling my case. Said a notice was mailed 3 days prior to the call and did I receive it. Asked where it was sent and she read my address to me. Scumbags!!

Got a call yesterday and today from 323.786.9847.  Heavy accent, barely understand the name Lisa Davis or Davies.  Something about "legal actions taken against your name".  As noted by others - scam.  Don't fall for this.  

I too got a call from Lisa Davis last night and when I called back this morning, she asked for my attorney's name. Told me I was late filing in 2009 and owed. And that I had a warrant out for my arrest. By the end of the call she hung up on me. Thankfully I didn't give her any info.

got a call... said i owed $4986 for tax evasion. was going to my house to arrest me 45min after call. SCAM

A call from Lisa Davis has just come through for my sister stating she was from the Dept. of US Treasury Legal Affairs and that it was a matter of urgency that she return the call due to back taxes.  I laughed in her ear after she explained what she wanted and hung up on her.  I then came immediately to this site to see if it was a scam, and of course, it was!!!!

Thank goodness for this site!  And may 'Lisa Davis' and the organization she is associated with get what's sorely coming to them!!

I had a voice message from Lisa Davis from Dept of Legal Affairs - US Treasury - about an enforcement action against my name.  It was hard to understand the foreigner who has a very American name and obviously reading from a script.  I had to listen several times to understand it all.
