Sending check for driving job

DO NOT deposit the check. It's fake. Take it to your bank & have them examine it. Usually the name & address are good, but the transit numbers at the bottom are fake. Even in the 21st Century it can take 6+ weeks for a check to clear. You can be sure when that check arrives they will want you to send CASH by wire transfer to someone else. The check bounces, you're out the money, plus all costs. That's the scam.
