Robocall about lowering credit card interest rates------------SCAM!!!!!!!!!

received 5 to 10 calls a day from this number.

A new number telling me about credit card interest rates and how if I press 1 I can lower mine.  Caller Id said Los Angelas CA.

Calls coming 5-7 times a day. They say that they are on their last call to give me an offer yet they continue to call and hang up in my face. Even after 7:30 when my 2 children are sleep so they are constantly being woken up!

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

This number calls repeatedly.  Caller ID identifies as "Survey"
About lowering credit card rates with no way to opt out.  Even if I press "1" to talk to someone, I am put on hold and eventually disconnected.

Stop this caller by calling back, press 1 to be added to the do not call list, wait 48 business hours for this request to be processed.  It works!

SCAMMERS:   ID showing SURVEY.   Just another number for scamming.  They won't leave a message.

Just received a call from this number and it was labeled CONSUMER ASSIST. Your post reminds me about times they call me and I choose to answer (my idle curiosity). They do not respond to HELLO, HELLO, then in a short while they (robo dialler?) hangs up. Their marketing technique needs a little work., their machine needs tweaked or their intelligence is missing. Why would you cold call someone, then not have someone available within 2 seconds to pitch their scam.

It works? BS... You just told them that your number is a valid number and they will sell your number to everyone.  You've just opened yourself to a great many more calls.

This number keeps calling me.

said hello a couple times but was just dead air.

SCAMMERS. Since the scammers keep changing the "spoof" phone number displayed on the caller ID, we've programmed our systems to immediately recognize the voice of the [***] with the British accent. Only a syllable or two is needed and the call is immediately disconnected. These scammers must really think that all Americans are so stupid that because the taped voice they use on their robocalls has a British accent that we will immediately drop our guards and pants and immediately give them our Social Security Number, Date of Birth, Driver License Number, Mother's Maiden Name, Credit and Debit card account numbers, PIN numbers and every password we have.
I don't know what they're drinking or smoking but it definitely has had an adverse cumulative  effect on their already acutely challenged brains.

Got another call today.  Now shows as "CID Review".
