I was home to answer this call, a woman identified herself and her "company" as Nationwide Auto. I immediately said "We're not interested. Put us on your do-not-call list."

Search engine results show this number as being a cell phone number located in California. I am in Texas. I also searched for a business with the phrase

"Nationwide Auto" California

and got nothing obvious with this phone number. Unfortunately, "nationwide auto" is a prefix in the names of a lot of businesses.

This number called us very early mornings with different persons.  We told them not to call again, they are rude.  very annoying.

Keep telling these people not to call. Very rude agent. I've blocked the number, but anyone have other numbers that caller ID may show? I want to block them all. How do we stop these people from annoying us.

If my call announcement was working on TV I'd know not to answer....they just keep calling...
and calling....what gives

They have called three times in the past hour and never say anything when we answer.

Just received a call on my work line from this company.  I told them they were calling a work line and I was not interested.  The agent was very rude and said, 'Interested in what? I haven't even told you anything yet?'. I said, 'Anything you have to offer' and I hung up.

I have stopped answering any phone call I do not recognize. If they can not leave a message then it is not important. However since the first of the year the volume of what I presume to be sales calls have increased to 10 to 15 a day. Seems like the "do not call" is a waste of time since no one enforces it. Also when I did file a formal complaint with both the local police department (received a case number) and a complaint with the FCC (was told they had the right because of freedom of speech) so where is my right the owner and payer of my phone have the right to be harassed day and night from these people. This is total BS.

Received a call from Nationwide Auto about my vehicle. They told me my VIN number came up and that I'm at high risk for repairs and in "laymen's" terms that meant I needed a policy.  A very RUDE young man. I responded In laymens terms, I am not interested and you need to remove my phone number from your list. He tried to argue with me, which is when I hung up.

See my April 10 comment. These people have called me every day really pissing me off. I never answer a call I don't know who its from and they never leave a message. I guess since neither the phone company, nor the police, or FCC (government) will do anything about these annoying calls. Its about time instead of creating a "crowd funding" we need to create a "crowd email blitz" to include all our state and federal representatives and  the FCC literally burying them with complaint mail regarding these annoying calls. Just maybe they will realize individuals have rights also and not just big business. Also that all spoofed calls with fake names and phone numbers would be illegal and blocked as well.

PS as an observance I have also noticed that a caller ID from Lynchburg Va. 434-368-4558 calls within 15 minutes of each other. Whether they are related or not I am not sure but they seem to come in pairs. Has anyone else see this call pattern?

04-25-15 These bottom feeders have been calling my unlisted land number twice a week for months. Second call today, I answered. He asked for me by my last name, & said his records show my warranty on 08 Toyota has expired.
I told him, I rolled it over in a ditch & it is totaled out. He quietly hung up.  Lets see if the dirt bags call again.

Caller ID said only "Los Angeles  CA".  They called about 8am local time but there was no response when I picked up.

I always try to be nice but she wanted to argue with me about not knowing what she was offering regarding my vehicle. I emphasized I wanted to be removed and had received HUNDREDS of calls on that car. Never never again am I buying a new vehicle if this is what to expect.  I hung up while she was still talking when she wanted to argue.
