Phony number, call back says "this line has been disconnected."

Called and left no message. Now blocked.

How do you block these numbers ?

Buy a call blocker.  Read the instructions.  Block the number.

No ID, no message so no doubt to block them!

I have had to install Sentry robo call blocker (purchased on Amazon.com) when I was getting up to 17 calls in one day.  I still get 5 calls a day, but at least the phone does not ring  The only problem is that I no longer can get "any" incoming calls.  Caller must first call.  When I "see" the number on the Sentry screen, I then "accept" the call and from then on calls from that party will go through to the phone without Sentry blocking. Sentry is a separate box connected to your phone line then to your phone. Since these calls are generated by a software program which dials numbers in sequence even if you are on the Federal Do Not Call list or have an unlisted number (which you are paying for, by the way). Software programs also exist which disguise the actual number from which the call comes, so these guys can't be caught.  Phone company values income from them vs. ruining your life.  Another site reports that one telemarketer admitted using the DNC list for leads!

Just had a call from these parasites.  Another one to be blocked forever.  They never give up.  Aggravating morons.

Ditched using youmail.com on phone as an app and for landline. It's basic function to ditch unknown callers is free. I have been using for a few years, hundreds of ditched calls and ones like this was ditched last year. It's got to be a computer. Anyway, my phone does not ring but I have my preferences set to send me an email to show who called and youmail ditched. This is one of several "home improvement" calls that came my way today. ALL DITCHED thanks to youmail. And it's free. I can call out but I do screen all my calls this way.

This call appears as "Out of area" in my caller ID. That's unusual because most caller IDs are all caps. Other numbers that have called and shown this same unusual caller ID are: 1, 626-231-0507, 626-288-6284, 805-325-8746, 909-321-5808, and 626-231-0507
