Just got a call from this number claiming they are the IRS and to call them before they take action against me regarding my taxes. Please not the IRS does not call people. This is a scam number!!

I just got a call said they were from irs wanted to confirm my last 4 digits of soc. Stupid me I did and then realized what was going on!!! I called number back and they are still in business!!!! Wth...why can't something be done? I also reported to local authorities and they just took the number down.

Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

One important thing to remember if these losers have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!!

Just got a call on my landline from this number

Scammers trying to get info claiming they are the IRS

called me twice saying they were with the IRS and I needed to contact them immediately regarding my taxes. This is a scam!

I just received a call from this phone number as well. It was an automated recording claiming the caller's name was Nikki Johnson. I was instructed to call that number back immediately before the IRS "took action" against me and was told it was time-sensitive. Don't call them back!

Computerized caller identified itself as IRS, stating I needed to call back asap. I hung up on it.

Scam! I called back, I asked a procedural question, and they got very snippy and told me I was going to jail.  Don't give anyone your info if they call.

Just got a call and voicemail. Claiming, its Nicki Johnson from the IRS, and don't ignore this call.
Researched this number before calling back, and I'm glad I did, as this is scam to pump you for information and potentially  to steal your identity.
This is a particularly effective scam.

Nicki Johnson seems to be making the rounds.  Just got a call from these idiots (left VM).  Fraud call, just ignore them.

I just got  the  same call automated voice saying she was IRS and I need to call or my attorney

I received a call from this number stating they were the IRS and they were taking action against me. I asked questions and they got and attitude. They could not provide documentation.

just got a call on my cell phone from this same number saying she was from the IRS. just laughed at the automated call.  tempted to call back to give them a hard time.

May16,2014 we got a call on our cell phone from this number 3239828962 automated nikki johnson when we called back a man with a bad accent answered ans tried to say that his manager was the only one that could keep us out of jail by convencing him that we could pay them or they would download our info to the courts in one hour he put us on hold and then tried to change his voice to sound like the manager the first man called himself rodger smith and the manager is frank howard. There is no nikki because it is an automated voice. I contacted the irs they do not make such calls and this number is in no way connected with the irs . They will not tell you. Where to send the money until you tell them you have money  to send. They will not get you a badge number because they try to throw so much info at you they don't expect you to ask for their info.

I just experienced the same thing today with "Nikki Johnson".  I called them back from a phantom line at work.  The man asked me for my name and I told him that I was hesitant to provide him with that information since the auto call didn't address me by my name.  He immediately hung up on me:)

Got this call I answered and told them this number will be reported and the man with an ancent got mad and said to me "Thank you, you [***]"

I am so angry. They scared my83 year old mom. Something has to be done. My dad just died and she thought it was legit. I want to take action against them. How can this be allowed!?

They called me too. Claimed they were nicki jhonson. This is a scam. I called back and they were like this is uhh... then hung up.
