My elderly mom has been receiving calls from a "Linda from Texas" from this number asking if she could speak to someone that happened to have the same name of my deceased father and brother.  My mother responded that there was no one living there with that name.   (Father's been deceased for over 30 years, brother has been out of the house for over 40)  They then called my mother's neighbor accross the street and started asking him questions about my father (or) brother as well.
What nerve!!

I got a call from Natalie Gartner just now from this number. She claimed she was from a company called DCS (who specialized in 'personal business', whatever that means) and looking for information on someone else in my apartment building. She had his name and apartment number and wanted more info on him. A friend who is staying with me answered the phone and she made it sound like she was with the management company and said she was calling in regards to the apartment on X Street(my address).

There is a strong connection with these posts as I have recently had some problems with the Dept. of Education as well and my very old account was just turned over to a collection company as well.

Update: I called her and her name is spelled Natalie Gardner and she is located in San Angelo, TX on a landline. For $2 anyone can have her address and home number sold to them on a number of sites.

I think the DoE connection might just be that the accounts are processed on the same day of the month, and since I live in a college town in WI, it's very possible that this is an inquiry to collect on a student loan.
