guy called, said I was hacked & directed me to a website where he wanted me to install a program that would let him remotely access my computer so he could remove the viruses for me. Total scam! claimed to be with microsoft.

guy called.... said he was Thomas from Microsoft.... said my computer was sending out a virus?  I said Computer??? I have no Computer....  what's a computer... he hung-up...LOL

NICE......you  have  to  be  kidding  right ???

got a call from some guy from India or somewhere...couldn't understand half what he was saying...something about receiving signals(?) from my computer. Said he was with Windows (I think) and was going to guide me thru something??? CRAZY. I asked to speak to someone who could speak English and another guy started talking that actually sounded exactly like the first guy....anyway I told them when they could find someone who spoke English I'ld talk to them....doubt I'll be hearing back from them.

I too just received a phone call from this number.  I started telling them "Praise the Lord" you called, I've been trying to tell my family, my comuputer had a virus... I asked them if they were going to pray over my computer to get rid of the virus.  LOL  they hung up.  :-)  I LOVE IT!!!  This is the second call I've gotten in a week.  HELLOO

These people called 3 times today saying my windows computer was going to crash any minute. I have my whistle out if they call again...

Basically the same as above.  

It's the scam where the guy claims to be from Microsoft and he needs to fix viruses on your computer.  They'll try to remote access your computer or get payment information.  They'll try to convince you of viruses by showing you the error report via "eventvwr" from 'run'.  

This man has an american accent as opposed to the usual Indian accent.

These [***] call me 3-5 times per day saying they are from Microsoft or windows.  I know it's a scam, so I told the guy to F off...now I just get phone calls with no one on the other end.  True pieces of crap.

I just received 3 calls today from these jerks.  I asked them why when I call the number back it says that it is disconnected.  How do I get them to quit calling?

I've had 3 calls from this number in the last 2 days....I'm tired of these jokers trying to get into my computer.

I also got a call from this number and they said my computer was going to crash and that they needed access so they could down load some virus software.  They said they were from Microsoft. and it scared me seeing I am an older lady. so I did go along with them even was paying for the software with my credit card.  I got to thinking after the guy kept say no worry madam.  I told him I didn't want him calling again and I was going to report  him to the police.  That must of worked cause he hasn't called. and my credit card is safe.

They have been calling me for the past week! I was a victim of ID theft and I am guessing since they can no longer access my old cards they want the new info. I went so far as to go to the site that he wanted..Aammy.com knowing full well after reading a warning from aamy that it was a scam. I have been working with the FTC and the local police to track this number. Tonight they called again and at the recommendation of local PD I asked to speak to a supervisor, get a name and number to call them back,. Sadly, the "windows rep" got nasty and hung up. I am awaiting the next call from them.....

If they continue to call, be sure you are part of the "do not call registry" and also since this is a scam, you cam file at your local Police Dept. Annoying, but hopefully they will be caught!!!

Oh I forgot I called my credit card and told them not to pay this company. I did it just in time because the idiot called again the day after Memorial day and said he didn't get my credit card number correct and I told him he isn't getting it Period.  I think the only thing that saved me was that he called me on the Friday before Memorial day and then called again on the day after Memorial day.  With the financial places being closed on holidays he didn't get anywhere.  Thank god.

I have also been getting numerous calls from this number and a few different numbers all telling me they are from windows and that my computer has been infected with a Virus.    I had seen a story on the evening news about this scam so of course I hung up, but am getting pretty sick of the constant calls!!   Wish there was some way to stop them!

Get numerous calls...submitted a complaint the FTC.  Still trying to figure out to stop the calls.

My story pretty much the same as the others. Guy with thick accent asked if I had a computer. Said he was from Microsoft technical support. I said no and hung up.

This guy just called me: he had an indian accient. Knew my name phone number and address i told him he has the wrong person and hung up. Who are these people? They had my info!
