answered and they hung up

they called... no doubt a scammer but I didn't answer so who knows which type.

They called me a little after 8:00 last evening, but I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  Probably just calling to see if a live person answers the call so they can sell the number to other telemarketers.

Won't leave a message. Caller ID says "Massillon OH". A callercenter.com comment reports it as the "fix-your-computer" scam from India, so this is likely a spoofed number.

Got a call but they hung up automatically. Caller ID said "Massillon OH" as reported by Bob Smith. I'm in Dallas, so definitely sounds like a robo caller.

They called 4 times and hung up.  Didn't answer them.   Must be scammers,

ID says  out of area.  Never answer those!

Have received multiple calls (at least one or more daily) from this number over the past week or so.   I finally answered one of these this morning,  due to anger and frustration more than anything.   A woman told me that she had a one question survey, something to do with Newt Gingrich, and then something about listening to a message from Newt and staying on the line afterwards.   I'm not really sure if she was live or a recording -- she didn't respond to me telling her that I didn't care what she wanted, but it sounded live.   Anyway, I hung up at that point and blocked the number which, of course, I should have just blocked it after the first call or two.

Received multiple calls on 10/14/14 and 10/15/14.  One call at 10:55 pm.  I did not answer.

I was on line long enough to have a fella tell me he was with the Order of the Purple Heart.  

That's the end of that.
