    SCAM ALERT:
This number states it is from R G Financial Services stating I owed a PAYDAY LOAN from 2010.  For one thing I haven't used that services since forever.  Second if I did owe back then why in the hell did they wait 5 years to contact me?  Third I filed bankruptcy in 2010 and it would have been in that [***].  I told her to contact the Federal Judge that approved my bankruptcy because I OWE NOTHING.

    Frustrated in Ohio
1-330-249-1884 Keeps calling me for the last two weeks, mentioning a name that is not mine, a law suit and debt. I cannot return the call, because I am placed on hold, then hung up on. Spam/Scam.

    Irritated
I get phone calls and messages left from this number.  If I answer the phone, they hang up.  If I call the number back, they put me on hold and then they hang up.  Obviously it is a scam.  How can we get the annoying calls to stop though?

    Tired of this caller!
Do not bother calling back, they hang up on you after being on hold. They call repeatedly throughout the week.

Similar experience - and RUDE individuals at best. Very short and nasty and failed to provide agent name, business name - I would say it definitely has the making of a SCAM call - AVOID 330 249 1884 ... and REPORT as harassment!

I keep getting this number, they ran off  my email and my hubbys  work place  said we  had a online loan in 2008  but  it ws refered to them. when asked  who they were they would NOT say.  Then claimed that NO ONE  can get your email or  anything from you.  I reported the phone number and yet they are still calling me.

The DNC does not cover debt collections. Debt Collections fall under the FCRA/FDCPA laws.

***A company must be licensed in their state as well as the one they are trying to collect in if two different states are involved.

    Some Tips:
    *Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time, date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.
