called about an automobile i don't own.  Wanted to sell me an extended warranty.

This caller insisted he was calling about our 2008 VW Gti and the fact that the factory warranty was expired. I immediately let him know that we were on the federal Do Not Call list.  He insisted he was calling from "corporate" about our warranty.  Twice more I asked him if he was calling from Volkswagen  and he stated, "yes".  Since Volkswagen corporate is not in the 330 area code, he was obviously lying.  I let him know that we do not purchase via phone and told him to mail us information.  He stated that they have mailed things 5 times to our address.  I hung up.  We have received junk mail from a non-Volkswagen company.

Dude gave himself away when he pronounced the name of my car SEE NA, instead of Sienna.  Clearly not from Toyota!  I hung up on the douche.  Called at dinner time, and knew my name.  Creepy.

When they called, they asked for my husband (by name).  When I said he was unavailable, they hung up.  I could tell it was a "call center" in the background so when I called back, a recording picked up saying it was a "processing center"

Called and left a vm with no message

called and left a voice mail but no message just silence.

Received two calls from this number and was hung up on both times.
Called the number back after the second hang up and got their VM. Left an irate message asking who the hell was calling my phone and hanging up!
So far, no reply or additional calls.

They have been calling my number for months. The first couple of times I'd answer and they would ask for my husband. I've yelled at them to stop calling a few times. Now I just pick up the phone and hang up on them.

#330.259.9560 called I said hello twice b4 a womans crackly voice went into her spill..hurriedly mechanically reciting from her script " Hello I'm Tamara from the Motor Vehicles Bureau and I...I said take a breath who r u and why r u wasting my time? She was kind of stumped with my question so I asked her to remove my # from her list." Doubting she will I blocked this # the googled it leading me here.

I have an unlisted phone number and they still had my husbands name.  She asked for him but when I asked where she was calling from, which if she was professional, she would have identified the company name before she asks for my husband.  She asked again for my husband and when I told her I didn't hear where she was calling from, she hung up on me.  Well, she won't b calling again and getting through because u just blocked her call.

Um.. we are not capable of blocking calls for anyone..  this is just a forum for reporting calls and anything you might know about the calls for others.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Sent to voicemail. Just said "goodbye". ID comes up as Auto Warranty Telemarketers from Youngstown Ohio

The Youngstown number and also a number from Canal Fulton Ohio similar number same people. The man asked for my husband, he Said he wanted to extend the warranty on a car that we have not owned for over 5 years now. He hung up when my husband said a few choice words to him. So tired of these companies bothering us.

Continue hitting redial over and over and it will get thru was told they work for motor vehicles when I asked bmv he got nervous they try to get you to believe that but told them I am calling bmv the scam was over

When I answered, there was not a word on other end...then they hung up.  Tried calling back and a voice recording just said "goodbye".  Scumbags!!!
